Worst service experience ever! I received a letter from Ford about issues with my 2015 Ford focus and others like it having issues with the transmission mobility controller. I had I received a letter from Ford about issues with my 2015 Ford focus and others like it having issues with the transmission mobility controller. I had already had this fixed once under warranty, but got a letter that they would be extending the warranty due to the known issues. My car had been doing the same thing it did when I initially had to have it fixed in Charleston, South Carolina I went in and made an appointment with Brad to have my car serviced. After having my car for four days in which I ubered back and forth to work, they told me that there was nothing wrong with it and the shuddering that I was experiencing when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear as well as the random jumps in RPMS were “within the parameters deemed acceptable by Ford,“ I paid $255 in diagnostic fees because I did not want them to do the $6,056 worth of additional work they quoted me outside of what I brought it in for. Not even a full week later, my car broke down, and I had it towed to a third-party mechanic under my extended warranty through CarMax. Turns out the issue that caused the breakdown was what I brought it in for. I called and left a voicemail asking someone to call me back because I wanted my money back since this is something they should have fixed, but Brad was no longer in his position, so I left a voicemail with the person who took over for him. This was over a month ago and I still have not received a call back. More
