I have used El Cajon for service and purchasing new vehicles for a lot of years. My service writer in Quick Lane has taken care of us twice now as she is new and she has been fabulous especially when vehicles for a lot of years. My service writer in Quick Lane has taken care of us twice now as she is new and she has been fabulous especially when waiting on a grumpy old man. In the years that I have been a customer it has not always been great but on the rare occasion there has been a problem it was remedied very quickly and on a couple of occasions I feel that you have gone above and beyond and for that I am grateful. Thank you. More

Amazing customer service i was out and shopping around i drove by this dealership off the 8 in El Cajon after leaving pensky i was already annoyed and disappointed with pensky i was out and shopping around i drove by this dealership off the 8 in El Cajon after leaving pensky i was already annoyed and disappointed with pensky and a few other dealers because of their lack of customer service i walked on pensky's lot for close to half an hour meanwhile the sales representatives just stood in the ac waiting for me to come in after i found a car that i liked the other stores did that as well must have been due to the fact that i was wearing shorts and flip flops. the moment i showed up at ford of el cajon there was people up front motivated and ready to help with smiles on their face. i might have not bought the most expensive car but they treated me like family and it felt good to actually buy a car for ONCE. the manager bobby and the salesman Johnny where great and i look forward to doing future business with them! Great sales experience on my new Fusion Not sure about other reviews but I had a great experience. I dealt with the Internet department which made my buying experience quick and efficient. Not sure about other reviews but I had a great experience. I dealt with the Internet department which made my buying experience quick and efficient. Shawn Green and Jared LaCoste both helped me get into a new Ford Fusion. I received a great price, no haggling back and forth, no games played. When I showed up, their Internet Director greeted me as if he was my best friend and it was nice to know they were prepared to show me vehicles and packages that I wanted. After a great test drive the paperwork was ready for me to sign I did wait about 15 minutes for signing in their finance office but other people were also purchasing. After signing my new Fusion was professionally detailed with a full tank of gas. The managers came out to congratulate me and they all made me feel as if I made new friends which I did. To Jared Shawn and Bobby Thanks for everything Regards Aaron Santoyo More

4 New tires for my 2016 Ford Focus ST. One gouged wheel. Recently after 42k miles on my '16 Ford Focus ST I decided that I was going to replace the original tires. I decided to try a new dealership out as I Recently after 42k miles on my '16 Ford Focus ST I decided that I was going to replace the original tires. I decided to try a new dealership out as I haven't been really all that satisfied with the other 3 dealers I've been to with this car. I picked El Cajon Ford because they were offering certain tire manufacturers with a $140 rebate. I was just going to go ahead and get the same tires that came on the car as standard which are the Goodyear Eagle F1s. A lot of people don't really like this tire but I felt that with they were more than adequate with daily driving duties mixed with a little spirited driving here and there. I made an appointment and arrived in the morning on 6/5/17. I explained to the service writer what I was looking for and he suggested that I consider going with a set of Continental's, either the DWS-06 or Extreme Contact Sport. I recently attended a day at the BMW Performance Driving School in Thermal, Ca. and they are sponsored by Continental. I was impressed by the tires they had fitted on their M series cars and all the instructors there raved about how good of a tire they were. I decided to give them a shot and went with the DWS-06s. Great tire by the way and I'm glad they were recommended. I left my car there and they gave me a ride back to my house in their shuttle which was much appreciated. I got a call that afternoon that my car was ready to be picked up and so I had my buddy drop me off. Drove my car home, parked it in my driveway, and then went across the street to grab my mail out of the mailbox. Walking back to my house and approaching the back of my car I noticed that the left rear tread pattern was different than the right rear. I felt this was odd and on further inspection of the other 3 tires realized that the left rear was a different model and not matching. Very close at first glance but definitely different. I understand mistakes happen and so I gave them a call first thing the next morning as they had already closed for the day. Upon giving them a call I asked for the service writer who I had spoke with the day before so I could explain the situation. I was immediately informed that he was not with the dealership anymore. I felt this was odd and then asked to speak with the service manager. I then explained to him the situation and he apologized and said he would order up the correct model tire and give me a call when it arrived. This was about 7:30-8:00 in the morning. Around 12:00 I realized I had not received a call yet and called to get an update on the arrival of the tire. He said it was on its way and would call me when it arrived. At 5:30pm he gave me a call telling me it was there. I asked him if he wanted me to bring my car down there immediately and he then claimed everybody has gone home for the day. Their service department hours stated they close at 6:00pm. He then told me to bring it in first thing the next morning and he would get it taken care of. I arrived first thing the next morning and asked to see the service manager that I spoke with over the phone and was told by the 2 service writers at the front desk that he was not in today. They then had to confirm with each other that they were briefed on the situation the night before. They then told me that my car would be taken care of immediately and I could wait. It took them about 30 mins to swap the tire out and then I was on my way. I arrived back home and was looking over the tires when I noticed that they had left a lot of the lubricant on the wheels that they use to install the tires. In my experience working at a Discount Tire when I was younger we would always coat the bead of the tire with a slippery solution before installing it with the machine to ease in the installation. New tires are extremely stiff especially if they are a lower profile tire. The biggest difference is that when we did this we would always wipe off the excess after installing and mounting the tire as that's just the proper way to do things. When I got to the right rear wheel I started wiping it down and my microfiber towel got snagged on something. I wiped off that area a bit more and noticed that there was a significant gouge in my wheel. Now you could immediately say that it might be from curbing a wheel but I've owned this car since new and have never curbed one of the wheels. Also, when you curb a wheel there is always a scrape around the gouge. This gouge has no scrape. It's a direct gouge as if someone does not know how to properly use a tire machine. I unfortunately did not have time to go back to the dealership as I had to go back to work the next few days but on completion of a service at this dealership they send you an email stating that if you have any questions or concerns about your recent experience to reply to the email address for the service manager listed in the email and they would handle it. Because I essentially was there twice I got 2 emails. Each with different names listed so I sent 2 different emails. I still have gotten no response and it is 7/9/17 as of me writing this. More
