It was unclear what was required ahead of time to qualify for Ford Financing. I told Will the day before we purchased the vehicle I wanted both of our names on the financing in order register the car in both for Ford Financing. I did receive a text from Will a couple hours prior to picking up the vehicle. informing me to remove the freeze from Experian. Unfortunately, I didn't see the text until we were at the dealership. I was able to remove the credit freeze. Only when we met with Blake, were we informed that Ford required my wife to have her credit freeze removed as well. She did not have the information with her to do that. The options were to leave and return on a different day when we had our credit freeze removed. Or put the financing in my name only for Ford approval and complete the sale. It was disappointing but we completed the financing in my name only. It would have been nice if we had the financial requirements prior to going to the dealership to complete the sale of the vehicle. If someone would have informed us that the credit freeze had to be removed from both credit accounts the day before we would have be done prior to going to pick up the car. The people were nice and good to deal with. I wish we were better prepared ahead of time. It would have gone better for everyone. This was a learning experience for us as well. Roger More
