I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Advantage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. On 7/17/26, my vehicle was towed to the dealership because the service engine light had come on. After running diagnostic tests, I was told that the accelerator pedal should be replaced. Although the dealership was unable to duplicate the issue at that time, I trusted their recommendation and paid approximately $800 to have the accelerator pedal replaced. Unfortunately, just six weeks later, on 8/23/26, my vehicle experienced the exact same issue. I immediately brought it back to the dealership that had replaced the pedal, and this time the vehicle produced the same error code that it had previously. Naturally, I was frustrated and concerned, especially after spending $800 on a repair that clearly did not resolve the problem. I asked if I could be provided with a loaner vehicle while my car was being diagnosed and repaired. I was immediately told that a loaner was not available. Zach, who has normally taken care of me during my previous visits, referred me to his supervisor, Blake. Unfortunately, my interaction with Blake was extremely frustrating. From the beginning, I felt that he was argumentative rather than willing to listen and understand my concerns as a customer. I was simply trying to explain why I was upset and why I felt a loaner or rental vehicle was a reasonable request under the circumstances. The conversation became so frustrating that my father ultimately had to come to the dealership and attempt to speak with Blake as well, but we still were unable to reach a reasonable resolution that day. The following day, I was contacted by the dealership and informed that the repair would be covered under warranty and that I would be able to get a rental vehicle. While I appreciate that the issue was ultimately covered, I can’t help but feel that the situation could have been handled much differently from the beginning. I have done business with this dealership before and have never been treated this way. What was most disappointing was not necessarily the vehicle issue itself, but the way my concerns were handled when I was already dealing with the frustration of having the same problem return after paying $800 for a repair. As a supervisor/director, I feel Blake could have handled the situation with much more professionalism, patience, and understanding. Sometimes customers simply want to feel heard and respected, especially when they have already spent a significant amount of money trusting a dealership to properly diagnose and repair their vehicle. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. I have previously had positive experiences here, which makes this recent experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, this is an experience I would not want to go through again. More
