Horrible experience with bringing my car (chevy) into the service department. I brought my vehicle in for a leak in the headliner. After 1 day they could not replicate the leak. We were surprised by that as service department. I brought my vehicle in for a leak in the headliner. After 1 day they could not replicate the leak. We were surprised by that as a lot of water was leaking. We asked them to look at it a 2nd day and they said they would attempt to. But that was met with attitude, reluctancy, and was the first sign of bad service. After the 2nd day they still could not find the leak. We picked the car up on a rainy day so it was not until the next day that we noticed the front windshield had several new & deep scratches on it. These scratches are eye level when driving so that would’ve been very evidently visible prior to the service. I immediately called after noticing the scratches and left a voicemail but no one returned my call. I brought it back in once they reopened and was met with even more attitude. They told me there was no way they scratched my windshield and that my “used car must’ve been purchased that way”. And that “scratches like that aren’t easy to do”. They denied the possibility of the car wash or hose they were using to replicate the leak as a possible cause of the scratches. When reviewing the camera footage there was no footage of the front of the car to prove either side of the story. Then the service manager we spoke to caught himself in a lie and said “there’s no way that happened your car was on the lot all day Friday” which was the 2nd day they said they’d work on the car. To me this just seems like they were lazy, did not want to try again, and offered no resolution. I understand the position they are in as customers can come up with lies all the time but I was 110% confident that they scratched my windshield. I am extremely angry at the way I was treated. I was talked down to, not provided with good customer service, and will never return. And you know what the crazy part is? We took it to Sunrise Chevrolet in Glendale Heights for a 2nd opinion and they found the leak in the windshield seal! And on the first day! They also helped us replace the windshield due to the damage. With all of this said, do not go to Napleton Chevy to get your car serviced. More

there should be an option for 0 stars. Nothing but deceptive and bad business practice. (this has been over the course of a year, and nothing has been resolved. I have only complained about the exact same safety/mechanical problems. I have not added any other complaints than what was immediately noticed the 1st day). I immediately encountered numerous problems leaving home with a used car from here. I contacted my salesman the next day who stated to bring it in asap(who is no longer there). I did. I verbally told them my complaints. They told me they found nothing wrong. I had no choice but to bring it back when they pulled a dent but left swirl marks all over my car. To which I again brought in a typed letter of my same complaints(2 times in total, with same complaints,7 visits total). They stated they addressed 2 repairs. Neither of which fixed any of the major safety concerns. I was also promised other repairs and told to call back to which the 1st manager was no longer with the company. I spent weeks and months trying to get a corporate number to call. All I got was the run around. Filed a BBB complaint to which the new mgr called and said he wanted to make it right with regards to my safety complaints, deceitful price advertising and a promised warranty that never happened. Brought this car in a total of 7 times and on the last time I brought it in to have repairs done, not only did the "repairs" not fix anything wrong, they actually damaged my car even more and all of a sudden I was ghosted yet again by the new mgr who blocked my calls and was not allowed to leave voice mails (after giving me his personal number, with some promises that never happened).. a promise to call me back with solutions after speaking with Mr Napleton.. I am writing this review with only true events that happened (or should I say "should have happened, but didn't").. I will be filing yet another BBB complaint, as well as to multiple other government and consumer protection agencies. One of the problems that I complained about to which they stated was "nothing wrong" actually went out while driving on the highway! It was a dangerous occurrence but luckily didn't cost me my life and another HONEST private mechanic directed me to a different chevy dealer and they fixed it under an established extended manufacturer warranty. Napleton/St charles could have done that, but chose not to, with the hopes that I would just go away..They have fired and replaced almost all the original staff, excluding the service mechanics who apparently don't know how to repair a car or are just a bunch of liars. It also seems that every time a mgr says they will help when I'm not satisfied, that they "mysteriously" no longer work for Napletion/St charles. I am sending my 2nd BBB complaint today with other agency complaints as well... Don't buy a used car here. Mr Napleton.wont help you with his faulty vehicles. It's been proven multiple times. He hides behind his false price advertising and deceptive business practice and is obviously only concerned about the bottom dollar and no concern for the welfare of his customers. And just to be completely fair and transparent, there are, I believe Paul Napleton owns this location,.yet try to get the correct name of which brother owns this location is impossible..Other Napleton"corporate" phone numbers will tell you they aren't responsible for St Charles, but have "no idea" who is. I would have hired an attorney asap if I weren't disabled and very ill.. I have lost weeks and months of my life trying to get this company to fix what I complained about and what was promised..They failed..Not enough room on here to talk about the service mgr's bad business practices. They have changed out most of their staff to "make things better"...well its been 16 months now and that hasn't happened! I'd say "Hey,Mr. Napleton, how about you give me a call to discuss how you want to fix this" but that probably wont happen either.. More

The service department here (Ted) is quite possibly the WORST service department I've ever been to and horrible customer service. After 1 bad experience with them, we thought we would try again and it was WORST service department I've ever been to and horrible customer service. After 1 bad experience with them, we thought we would try again and it was even worse. My husband shows up for a simple oil change, filter change and brake check and was told once he arrived that it may take 2 hours so he might want to go home or reschedule. What?! Wouldn't it be nice to know this before he arrived!? Since he was too far from home, he decided to wait. While he still sat there and waited, he was told the employees were on lunch break and would be back soon. He was the only person & car in there! He was also told that if he wanted a car wash it would be another 30mins. After literally 3.5hrs of waiting, his car was done. How is this acceptable?!?! We are a Chevy family, but will never go back here for vehicles or service! More
