I purchased a 2019 GLC300 4matic coupe a week ago. When I tried to enroll it in Mercedes Me I learned the VIN was still tied to the previous owner. I called Mercedes Me and was told I would have to visit a local dealer. I chose Mercedes-Benz of Westminster since they were 5 miles from my office. When I went there looking for help to resolve the issue of the VIN being registered with the previous owner. I was told it would take over an hour and I would have to pay $290.00 just so I could take advantage of the technology offered in the vehicle. The only thing I did wrong was to buy a Mercedes-Benz, General Motors does not try to rip off customers with this kind of extortion. The entertainment system is virtually useless until I pay the extortion monies. This is the most unethical dealership I have ever come across. This is how they treat new customers and introduce them to Mercedes-Benz. Seems like the better practice would have been to help, instead of extort money. I might very well have been a very a long standing customer. Not now, these people are xxxx More

Extremely poor experience here with a lease. Be advised, even though you think the “finance department” is part of the dealership, it is actually a separate arm of MB Finance / Daimler and they abs advised, even though you think the “finance department” is part of the dealership, it is actually a separate arm of MB Finance / Daimler and they absolutely do not communicate with each other once they have you in their grip. Be very very vigilant or the dealership and Daimler will fleece you deeply. More

3rd excellent buying experience We've worked with Ben for three purchases and KB with our last two finances. They are both knowledgable, patient and great to work with. Responsive sales, all phone calls returned Ben responded to questions via email and while we were at the dealership. Overall the service was good and I would recommend working with Ben. It would have been a good comment to let us know a company check could not be accepted. My husband had to travel to Golden to retrieve a personal check. Not a good way to close the deal. I must say I did not respond to the finance person. I found him somewhat overbearing. He went through the paperwork at a rapid pace and forgot that he does that often, I don't. Certainly not thoughtful or patient - "let's just get this done so I can go home". I would prefer someone who shows sincere appreciation for the business.
