Poor poor customer service Bought a 22 Tucson and the lease has been up For three months now yet tried to call the dealer sales dept and buy the vehicle with no answer from sales Trevor Torres was rud lease has been up For three months now yet tried to call the dealer sales dept and buy the vehicle with no answer from sales Trevor Torres was rude and only cares about the $3000 bait n switch program yet the owner Rick Torres is sitting in fla as absentee dealer, principal owner and never return bc anyone calls That what happens when you let children run a dealer If you get a call from the sales team RUN AWAY they don’t have your best interest in mind And most of the USED VEHICLES are smashed Up vehicle they bought from the auction Check car fax and watch out for the $3000 upsell scam More

AVOID THIS BUSINESS! When I asked the salesman named Brandon Rodriguez what they would give me for my old car his initial offer was $500. I told him that’s what I got for my last trade at Empire Hyundai, which had a seized engine and didn’t run. My current car that I wanted to trade was still very much operational and I asked $1,000. He left the room to speak to his supervisor, I believe a man named DJ, and came back with an offer of $700 and I agreed. However, when I showed up to finish the transaction and pick up my new car they lowered their offer to $500 without disclosing it to me, and AFTER they had already performed a hard check on my credit and submitted my financing paperwork to the Capital One bank. I asked Brandon why they weren’t giving me the price we’d agreed to and he denied that he had promised me the $700 offer, claiming to have told me that he would need to get that approved from his supervisor. This was completely false. As I mentioned, when he made me the $700 offer he had already left the room beforehand to do just that. When confronted with this, Brandon became very defensive and angry, even going so far as to raise his voice a bit. The entire conversation was also peppered with Brandon’s knee jerk response of threatening to sell the car to someone else or even send it to auction if I didn’t go along. They also tried to make me buy additional products such as protection plans. Despite quoting me a monthly payment of $450, these would mean at least an additional $30/mo, $3,000 total to the purchase price over the life of the note. They claimed their policy dictated I had to do so or pay a higher interest rate. My response was that all of this should have been disclosed in the initial discussion, where I had asked Brandon point blank if there would be any additional fees or charges besides the price of the car and the doc fee. His answer to this had been a definitive NO. They also never returned my $100 deposit as promised. More

Looked at car on Memorial Day. Filled out paperwork, got called on Tuesday and was told we were approved and car was ready for pick up. Brought our trade in and sales rep switched plates, had NO paperwork ready for us, we told mgmt we were not leaving in car without paperwork, we were informed to come in tomorrow and everything would be ready. We did take car home, brought it back next day at noon, again NO Paperwork prepared, we took our trade in back, no deal done. Find out days later the loan we were approved for was almost $200 over our budget, we were very clear on our budget. Very disappointed, sneaky, unprofessional, unpleasant experience More

Bought a car here in July of 2020, and ended up selling it recently in January. Was sold a useless extended service plan contract that was almost $3,000 when the car already has a 100,000 mile/10 year warr it recently in January. Met the finance manager Jason Silva on January 22, 2022 to sign the paperwork to cancel my Wheel & Tire, GAP insurance, and Extended service plan contracts. I had forwarded him the letter from the bank stating the loan was paid off in full on Friday February 18, 2022 and received no response. I called the Portfolio Group that the contracts were with to confirm if the contracts were canceled. I spoke with Cyndi on February 21, 2022 from Portfolio Group and she stated they were not canceled even though I signed the paperwork a month ago. So I ended up calling into Empire Hyundai and spoke with Trevor Torres the General Manager on February 21, 2022 stating how Jason never replied to confirm he received the document I sent and how the Portfolio Group confirmed the contracts were not canceled even though I filled the paperwork out a month prior. After I made the phone call to Trevor, Jason had replied stating he “got it. Thank you.” and then I asked if the refund checks for the canceled contracts will be backdated to January 22, 2022 since that is when I originally filled out the cancellation paperwork. It is now Thursday February 24, 2022 and he still has not answered me. I just called in to try and get into contact with him and the receptionist put me on hold for almost 10 minutes just to tell me he was “with a customer”. I then called Portfolio Group again on 02/24/2022 and spoke with Hayley and she stated the Gap insurance was canceled January 31, 2022 even though I signed the paperwork on January 22, 2022. They waited 9 days to file it. However, Hayley stated the extended service plan and the wheel and tire contract have not been canceled as of yet even though I signed the cancellation paperwork the same day 01/22/2022. I should be owed a refund back to the date the documents were originally signed because this is ridiculous. I wish it was possible to leave no stars as a review because that is all this place deserves. I will be sure to never do business with this dealership again because the customer service here is horrible. I suggest if you plan to buy a Hyundai, do not waste your time or money at this dealership. More

Horrible give them a negative.I bought a vehicle from them and they knew I was allergic to smoke and promised to get rid of it. They lessoned the smell but it still there. Well guess what it's not happening and they are 100 % reliable if I get into a car accident because my I stop breathing because of my lungs or have a seizure do to my migraines all documented.
