Barry was great! I wanted to add my review regarding our sales experience last May with Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. We were intending to go into the dealership to pick up our umbrella, but instead picked up a new car AND a last May with Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. We were intending to go into the dealership to pick up our umbrella, but instead picked up a new car AND and umbrella! So yes, we had a great time while we were there and were treated roaylly by Barry London. He anticipated and fulfilled our needs and wishes and made everything happen. Additionally he worked to obtain the best trade-in value for our previous Benz. We're very happy we stopped by and not surprisingly, we have gotten far more use and enjoyment out of our new car than we have gotten out of our new umbrella. Thanks for the fun day and the great car! More

At which time, I was warmly welcomed by Marty and Alex and as usual provided all we needed for my daughter and I to go shopping downtown while the car was serviced. Of course, it was completed right on time as we discussed. From there, I went to say hello to Wes Whetstone. He had helped us on two previous purchases and it was nice to see him again. We had discussed via email perhaps trading from a 2 seat convertible to a sedan, as our family status had changed. Wes showed different options to consider and as previously, allowed us to browse and think on things as freely and as helpful as possible. It was hard to turn down the great accomodation of the 2012 C class sedan but my heart fell for a 4 seat CLK convertible from 2009. 4 hours later, my daughter and I drove this car off the lot! The dealership gave us a great trade in value for the SLK and Austin secured a great financing package for us. What a great team to work with! Wes is a family man, professional in every way, yet easy and friendly to talk with. He is knowledgable and courteous. If you want a pleasant car buying experience go see Wes Whetstone and a great Mercedes dealership!!! More

My wife and I had shopped for a vehicle, new or used, since Saab was thrown out of GM. We have had Saabs since 1990 and were very sad to move on to another make of car. Our most important criteria for since Saab was thrown out of GM. We have had Saabs since 1990 and were very sad to move on to another make of car. Our most important criteria for a new make was that the dealership would stand behind its product. Second priority was that the vehicle was one of quality, and, third, would meet our particular needs and driving styles. We considered the C series, drove one and really liked it, except for its limited rear seat legroom. In addition, we wanted the 350 option, which was not available in the C series as a 4-Matic. Then we considered the E series, drove a friend's E550 (a bit too much engine), really liked it and decided to look for a good used one. The engine option for us was the E350. I had had a very bad sales experience at M-B of Hagerstown in 2003, at which time I purchased a used Saab 9-5 Aero. When that one ran out of warranty, I purchased a new 2008 9-5 Aero. So, after purchasing two vehicles, we decided to give this dealer another chance. Many of our friends have bought there and had nothing but good reviews. We were greeted by Wes Whetstone, who was very gracious and extremely knowledgeable about the C and E series product. He positioned us into an E350 4-Matic with the Sport suspension. We were very pleased to find the Blue Efficiency engine, giving this vehicle 302 horsepower and still maintaining a 30mpg rating. Mike Lavrenchik also arranged a very reasonable trade for our Saab, Wes readily accepted our USAA Purchase Certificate, and then sent us to Austin Shemon, who arranged a 1.99% loan, and reviewed the extended warranty and other accessory options. Not too surprisingly, we purchased that day. A few days after the sale, we returned, at which time Wes spent about two hours going over every detail of this vehicle, including every electronic option/menu/connection available to us. He drives an E350 himself and shared some of the less obvious nuances of this vehicle. I did try to read the over-300 page owner’s manual, but Wes's review covered what we need to know to thoroughly enjoy this fine vehicle. He also introduced us to Kristen Golabek in the Service Department, who made an appointment to add a few options, and explained the free loaner program (also arranged to bring a loaner to Martinsburg at that time for that appointment). All-in-all, our experience with Wes, Austin, Mike and Kristen have given us a very optimistic start to what, we hope, will be a long term relationship with M-B of Hagerstown. More

We have been looking at vehicles for about 1 1/2 years and we kept coming back to Mercedes Benz in Hagerstown for many reason. Wes Whetstone was great, he answered all our questions and let us look at every car and SUV that we wanted to . He was never pushy and very helpful. Austin Shemon made all the paper signing a breeze and even forgave me for my brain farts. Kristen Golabek went beyond to help us with a spoiler to make our car OURS. My husband and I have our own business and know how important it is to make each one of our customers feel like they are #1 . Wes, Austin and Kristen have done the same for us. This is the 4th new Benz I have leased from MB of Hagerstown. First off, Barry London and Austin Shemon are awesome to deal with. Barry is not only well versed in his own product, he is also able to give comparisons to comparable vehicles the competition may offer. Due to the vehicle I was looking for not being in stock, Barry and the General Manager had to locate the vehicle from other sources. Barry kept me informed during the whole process as to the progress of finding the vehicle I was seeking. Once the vehicle was obtained, Barry took the time to explain all the nuances that went with this vehicle, even setting of my phone bluetooth and Sirius for me. I was made to feel that if I had any other questions after delivery, I could call Barry for assistance. As far as the paperwork process, Austin went out of his way to explain all the numbers and even saved me money with the prepaid maintenance option. I am sure I will be treated the same for any service appointments I will need in the future. More

We went to this dealership to test drive a GLK and ended up buying an ML 350. Mike, Wes and Rob were all very helpful and answered all of our questions. They were very professional and we never felt like up buying an ML 350. Mike, Wes and Rob were all very helpful and answered all of our questions. They were very professional and we never felt like we were being pushed into buying a vehicle from them. They really worked with us to find the best vehicle that suited our needs. We bought from them; not only because of the many services that they provide but the price was hard to beat and they gave us a great deal on our trade. The entire transaction was made so easy and they took care of everything. It was a very good experience and I would buy from them again. Wes even called us 2 days after delivery to make sure everything was ok and to see if we had any questions. We love our ML 350 just about as much as the wonderful box of chocolate we also got from them! More
