We truly regret that your recent experience did not meet your expectations, and we understand how frustrating this situation must have felt. To clarify, your Volkswagen Atlas is equipped with a factory-installed towing control module that automatically operates trailer brakes and makes necessary adjustments. The aftermarket trailer brake adapter provided was not compatible with your vehicle’s system, and our team communicated this during the diagnostic process. Regarding the charges: The $204.00 diagnostic fee was approved by you before the work was performed. The additional charge was for a cabin air filter replacement, which was also authorized at the time of service. While we recognize your disappointment, no repairs were performed beyond what you approved. We aim to be transparent in our communication and recommendations, and we’re sorry to hear that you felt unsupported throughout the process. We also regret that a loaner vehicle was not available during your visit — availability can vary, and we apologize for the inconvenience that this caused. Your feedback about feeling disrespected, particularly as a woman, is something we take seriously. Every customer deserves to be treated with professionalism, transparency, and respect. We will be reviewing this internally to ensure every member of our team upholds these standards. If you’re open to further discussion, we’d appreciate the opportunity to speak directly and work toward a more positive resolution.
