He made the process easy for us, we never felt rushed. I have purchased many new vehicles over the years, this dealership was by far the best car buying experience overall. We love our foresters! My only complaint which goes for both of the vehicles we purchased is the dealer does not wax or detail the cars before delivery. Sure the inside is clean because they are brand new, but the outside shows all the places the transport protective films were adhered to the body panels. As minor as that may sound, it’s important to me. More

Had an excellent experience with Subaru of Jacksonville (SOJAX). I originally visited SOJAX back in 2021 when I was thinking about getting a Subaru after being in the Honda/Toyota camp. I enjoyed the tes (SOJAX). I originally visited SOJAX back in 2021 when I was thinking about getting a Subaru after being in the Honda/Toyota camp. I enjoyed the test drive with the Forester and Outback with John Voight being the sales associate. At the time I didn't need another car. Late 2022 is when I needed another car. I came back to SOJAX and spoke with John and I test drove the Legacy and the Crosstrek. Considering I live in Palm Coast, FL and I do a good bit of highway driving (100 round trips is normal for me from Palm Coast to Jacksonville), the Legacy fit my needs the most (while the Outback wasn't too far behind, it make sense since the Legacy and Outback are mostly the same vehicle with some important differences). Subaru might be the only mainstream Japanese automaker that allows you to do custom orders. So with John I did a factory order for a 2023 Legacy Premium trim with the color that I want, the add-ons that I want, and the Option Package that I want. Order was done in Mid October 2022. John and SOJAX was upfront with pricing, which matched my estimate with FL battery fee, sales tax, new tag fee, and the $654ish dealer fee. I'm in the banking and I used to work on indirect auto loans for all 50 states. FL is infamous for crazy high dealer fees and there's no cap on them when buying a car in FL. It is super common Pre-COVID to list the vehicle for sale at invoice or below invoice but the dealer then hit you hard when they provide you with the crazy high dealer fee + any other fee the dealer want to add on. SOJAX MSRP pricing with their extremely reasonable dealer fee is great. Also is great that you can find SOJAX dealer fee on their website, so you know what you are dealing with! Not all dealers will be upfront on their dealer fee. John gave me timely updates on the status of the vehicle, including VIN and build date and ETA of delivery. Vehicle delivered to dealership on 12/27, and after making an appointment I was able to pick it up on 12/30. On pick up day John went over the vehicle with me, including the keyless entry and setting up Apple Car Play with the Legacy. I asked him some questions and he answered them where I had no more questions. SOJAX was nice to sign me up for the three year Complimentary STARLINK Security Plus service, which honestly if your new Subaru supports it then I recommend getting it. Remote start + save settings where you can have heated seats on, how cold/hot you want the car at startup, etc. When it was time to speak with Finance I spoken with Ovidio Cirtina. He was pretty good to work with. SOJAX via their auto lending partners couldn't match my outside financing (but they tried), so we completed the paperwork with my Credit Union as lienholder for the FL ELT. Also, SOJAX did the paperwork correctly and on point (since I have indirect auto lending experience, I know the paperwork they are required to provide to me + I know how it supposed to be filled out). Ovidio did try to offer me a Maintenance Plan (which I do consider a Service Contract), which I declined since it wouldn't work for my needs since I am all the way down in Palm Coast. A lot of people diss on Service Contracts, but they aren't bad and depending on your needs it might be worth it. If buying from SOJAX, I recommend hearing out their products since it might be worth it to you. My convo with Ovidio including filling out the paperwork might only taken me 20 or so minutes max. When I gotten the buyers order the actual cost was a little less than their estimate and my estimate (slightly lower new tag fee and sales tax), which is cool. When I got the keys to the car it taken me like around 90 minutes from arrival to when I can leave with the Legacy. I appreciate John for prepping the Legacy on my arrival and Ovidio for being prompt on getting the paperwork finalized and done in a jiffy. Before I left I wanted to order additional add-ons for my Legacy. I walked over to the Parts Department and spoken with Anthony "Q" Quarterman. Cool dude, we talked for a bit and it seems the people in the Parts Dept were having fun. I gave him the parts # of what I wanted and he swiftly did the order, including explaining the ETA on parts delivery to SOJAX. Great experience all around with three different parts of SOJAX (Sales/Finance/Parts). Will go back in the future to request Transmission Fluid changes and Front/Rear Diff Fluid changes with their Service Department. I can't visit the Service Department more often due to my location, but for some very important stuff I'll have them do it. Hopefully I'll get another Subaru, and if anything the experience with SOJAX will make me get another Subaru with them in the future. I recommend others to buy their Subarus from SOJAX just for the easy car buying experience alone. More

Mike went over the whole inspection, the costs line-by-line and they even came out half-way through to show me my filters and ask if I wanted them changed. (yes). I also got 4 new tires which ride terrifically. I called the day before about the tires and Anthony in Parts told me he would set them aside-he did. He was also very patient as I looked for the numbers he needed. This dealership is just spotless, everyone is helpful and friendly and oddly, having your car serviced is a pleasant break. (Oh no, there are two Anthony's--hope I rated the right one.) Kelsey took my call the day before my appointment and I really appreciate her connecting me with Anthony and then double-checking my service request.) More
