The worst! From Jordan McCarty (Sales) to Andy Harris (Sales Mgr.), and others in between, there is much incompetence at this dealership. Initially, on about October 22, 2024, I made a deal through Jordan to purchase a new Telluride from a SC dealership. A few days passed and no one contacted me to come for the vehicle. I called and Jordan said the vehicle would be ready soon. Went to get it and it was NOT the same vehicle. Jordan said they were not able to work out a deal with the other dealership so they found another. Well, I was just about ready to drive the vehicle off the property when I discovered it did not have all-wheel drive (a must for me). Jordan left me and disappeared into the building for awhile. To keep this brief, I will say that I was on their property 5 hours that day, waiting and waiting for a solution. Eventually, a third Telluride was located for me. A few days later (after me calling for updates), I was notified it was on the property and would be ready late that afternoon. Went to pick it up, and a very nice employee was just finishing up installing an accessory. I left the dealership around 6 p.m., thinking all was done. Here it is December 13, 2024, and I still have not received the registration to the car I purchased!! My tag was physically transferred from my trade-in, but no one completed the registration! For the sake of space here I have not included many other screw ups associated with the transaction. Had this been resolved in a reasonable time, I would not be writing this review; but almost every employee to which I have spoken has dropped the ball. It all goes back to Jordan McCarty, who failed to stay on top of the transaction, failed to call me with progress (or lack of), who failed to ensure the third vehicle was indeed ready to drive off the lot. The Sales Manager (Andy Harris) failed to ensure Jordan had dotted the i's and crossed the t's. No one will answer phone calls - without exception, every call I have made has gone to voicemails. Not one person (Sales, Management, Title/Registration) will answer their phone. I should not be the one to have to pursue resolving this legality issue! Why am I having to work so hard to get Paramount employees to do their job?? Now, I am looking at a beautiful vehicle that cannot be driven. To say I am disgusted would be a mild way to express my dissatisfaction with Paramount Kia of Hickory. Benny Yount, help me please!! More

I have never felt so taken advantage of and disrespected by a business as I have by Paramount Kia over the past three months. In 2021, I leased a car through Paramount Kia of Hickory. When my lease ended in July, I visited Paramount to buy out my car. After meeting with CJ from finance, I found that the monthly payment was significantly higher than expected. Upon reviewing documents at home, I discovered over $7,000 in extra warranties and contracts that had not been discussed. The next day, I returned to Paramount to express my concerns and requested the cancellation of these extras. Initially, I was told to wait for several hours or come back another day, but after saying I could stay, a finance manager provided me with a cancellation sheet to complete shortly after. I was told my financing and payments would be updated within one to two weeks. Two weeks later, I called for an update and spoke with Brandon, who assured me everything had been submitted. I requested confirmation of the cancellations and on what my new financing and payments would be, but did not hear back. After two more weeks of follow-up, I spoke with another manager, Andy, who promised to call me back with confirmation of all of this information, but never did. Frustrated, I visited Paramount again on August 31st and learned from another employee, Evan, that my cancellations had never been processed. I was told it was now too late to adjust my payments. Evan stated he could process the cancellations on September 2nd but that I would need to refinance the loan and pay taxes again. It was disclosed that this wouldn’t have been necessary if they had submitted my cancellations the first time. Evan reached out on September 2nd to inform me they were sending a check to my financing bank, which would take a week or two to process. However, on September 18th, when I contacted my bank, they confirmed no payments had been received. When I followed up with Evan, he claimed the process could take 3-4 weeks and should be resolved before my next billing cycle. My next payment is tomorrow and as no surprise, this issue has still not been resolved and Ally has still not received this payment. This manipulation and deceit have persisted for nearly three months. I've repeatedly asked for confirmation and have received inconsistent and incorrect information from various managers and employees. The time and effort I've dedicated to resolving this matter have far exceeded what is reasonable, yet it remains unresolved. As a customer of Paramount Kia for over three years, I feel deeply disrespected. I have been patient throughout this ordeal, but my frustration has reached unacceptable levels. I am still waiting for a resolution. More

My wife and I just bought a new 2024 Kia Telluride from Paramount Kia of Hickory. The process could not have been easier. Unlike many other dealers, they do not bait you in with a very attractive advertised price and then tack on thousands of dollars in additional fees to the final price; instead, what you see is what you get. Their staff proved exceptionally patient and helpful as I navigated the process, never pushing the sale but, instead, doing everything in their power to help us locate a model that matched the exact specifications we desired. Our salesperson, Levontae Knox, took the time to explain EVERY key feature of the car (I was upgrading from a MUCH older car) and configure them before even leaving the lot. This is the second car I have purchased from Paramount Auto Group (the other from the Ford dealership in Valdese) and I highly recommend them to anyone else who may be in the market! More
