After several meetings with Ana, my wife and I purchased a new 2023 Lexus UX 250h. The purchasing process and financing were stress free. Chris Carter was very professional during the financing process. In addition, Tanner Stempel was very helpful in the service department regarding the 2023 UX 250h and also my 2021 Lexus RX 350. Everything up to yesterday was perfect. Ana is a dream. However when I was stranded at work last evening that was a nightmare!! Solution is a new alternator. I've been a Lexus owner since 2007. I love the brand and had a wonderful experience at Lexus of Tampabay in 2007. Lexus of Sarasota proved to be the exact opposite. I was charged mor I love the brand and had a wonderful experience at Lexus of Tampabay in 2007. Lexus of Sarasota proved to be the exact opposite. I was charged more than what I had agreed to pay and unfortunately, I did not catch it on my contract because sales tax was included on the sales price line (buyer beware, do the math!). I was assured by Shaun Mathis, Sales Leader, they would resolve my concern and 2 months later I cannot get him to answer my emails. All I can do at this point is chalk it up to a lesson learned and certainly warn others to be very thorough when dealing with them (or choose another Lexus dealership). Their practices have left me extremely disappointed. The 5-star reviews are begged for so it's no surprise to see how many there are. UPDATE: I was contacted by Lexus of Sarasota and they resolved my issue. I appreciate their responsiveness to my concerns and would certainly recommend them to potential buyers. They genuinely care about their customers. While it took a bit to get to the right person, the ultimate display of their client commitment was evident in their follow-up. More
