The most important part of my review is this dealership keeps its verbal promises. I searched months for a new or newer Ford Ranger truck. I wanted to get rid of my way too big 2017 F150 Platinum. I don keeps its verbal promises. I searched months for a new or newer Ford Ranger truck. I wanted to get rid of my way too big 2017 F150 Platinum. I don't drive very much and rarely tow, but I still wanted four wheel drive and some towing along with better economy and a truck that would fit in normal parking spaces. I found a 2000 mile 2023 Ford Ranger Lariat at Megel Ford. I keep vehicles for a while, so I don't care so much about the initial money as long as price is at the market value. I mostly care about the vehicle working correctly and being in perfect operating shape. The drawback with any dealer for me has always been the service department. Service departments almost never seem to completely correct a vehicle. I had dealer service issues with a 2017 PowerStroke, my 2017 F150 Platinum, and other vehicles. John Megel Ford was no problem at all getting a few problems corrected. They owed me a few corrections and promised to come 120 miles to pick my truck up after the parts came in. I also discovered that the AM and FM radio did not work hardly at all. The service department corrected the radio and replaced the promised appearance items the first time. This was one of the rare times a dealership service department did a complete job in one trip back. The dealership kept their word. They came and picked my truck up, left me a loaner (as promised at the sale), and corrected all the issues. They brought my truck back. This was an exceptional experience for me, having a dealer go out of the way to keep promises and a service department do a good job on a complex problem. The radio might not sound so complex, but it was a wiring issue and service techs are not radio people. I have had dealerships work on wiring and ruin more things than they fixed! I could not be more pleased than I am with John Megel Ford and the service. More
