Car buying can be stressful, but Troy Scott and the team at Heritage CDJR made it completely hassle-free! They even brought in the car from out of state at no extra cost. Came in thinking I would be sent home with no options and no car as had happened in other places I had been to. This was the complete opposite. I worked with Nicholas Candarella, he was amazing to work with. no car as had happened in other places I had been to. This was the complete opposite. I worked with Nicholas Candarella, he was amazing to work with. I have experienced many dealerships but none like this. From Nick, to finance, to other sales staff, everyone was so welcoming and willing to work together and help find everything that suited my needs in both , what I wanted and was willing to pay. I was offered options based on financial needs and not to mention full transparency through the whole process. 100% recommend Nick for your next purchase. More

I guess the third time is NOT the charm for Heritage when it comes to customer experience. On November 8, 2024, I visited the dealership to cancel an extended warranty on my current vehicle purchased from it comes to customer experience. On November 8, 2024, I visited the dealership to cancel an extended warranty on my current vehicle purchased from Heritage. This was in preparation for a future vehicle purchase, ensuring I would receive the maximum refund before further depreciation. Fast forward to November 18, I inquired about a Ram 1500 after seeing attractive pricing online. I worked with a salesperson named Phat and received an appraisal for my vehicle at $25,000 from “Chuck.” Unfortunately, we couldn’t finalize a deal before my planned vacation starting November 21, and I knew I’d miss out on the November rebates. No problem there. Fast forward to tonight, December 9. I scheduled an appointment with Phat to inquire about a Dodge Durango, which had promising incentives for December. That’s when the problems began to snowball. Extended Warranty Mismanagement Heritage never processed the cancellation of my extended warranty from November 8. Their excuse? “Whoops, we must have forgotten to send the email.” Considering dealerships lose money when customers cancel warranties, this feels suspicious at best. The refund amount I was expecting—$3,678—remains unresolved. Unjustifiable Trade-In Value Drop I was shocked to see my trade-in value drop from $25,000 (offered on November 18) to $22,3XX tonight—a nearly $3,000 reduction in less than three weeks. I was told this was because of the time elapsed since the initial appraisal. Adding insult to injury, the new offer included a $2,000 appraisal bonus currently being advertised. This means the actual value of my trade was just $20,3XX. Both NADA and KBB estimate the fair value of my vehicle at $26,000. Price Markup and Manipulative Practices The Durango I was interested in was marked $1,500 higher than its advertised internet price. When I pointed it out, I was told it must have been a “computer glitch.” Conveniently, they “fixed” the price—but only after I caught the discrepancy. Moreover, when I asked for the $2,000 appraisal bonus to be added on top of the trade-in value as advertised, I was told it was already “bundled in.” Despite the clear promotional messaging, Heritage refused to honor the bonus as an addition, citing the irrelevant fact that I purchased my vehicle at a discount for $29,500. Unprofessional Attitude The parting words from Chuck, “You can try and shop elsewhere. Let me know how that works out for you,” were dismissive and unprofessional. For a repeat customer like me, this was the last straw. This experience left me feeling slighted and unappreciated. From the extended warranty mishandling to deceptive pricing and trade-in practices, it’s clear that Heritage and MileOne prioritize their profits over customer satisfaction. I will not do business with them again. If you value transparency and respect, I recommend looking elsewhere for your next vehicle purchase. More
