Sadly, the last interactions with this dealership (or lack thereof) is what is driving this negative review. I was a return customer and was in the process of buying my second vehicle from Josh Thomes o lack thereof) is what is driving this negative review. I was a return customer and was in the process of buying my second vehicle from Josh Thomes on August 19, 2024. During the finance process, Luke Burfield made an error in my paperwork which resulted in my having to return 5 days after I left with my new Tuscon. My options then were either to pay another $500 to keep the coverage package I thought I had left with, or have it cancelled. Because it was his error, it didn't seem right that I had to "pay" for that. Being presented with no other option, I reluctantly agreed to cancel it but expressed my unhappiness because that coverage was something I wanted. On my drive home from that interaction with Luke, Alex Irlin, the GM at the dealership, happened to call for feedback on my experience. I explained the situation. He said he understood and that he'd see what he could do. I never heard from him again. I left a voicemail for him and two emails over the next couple weeks. No response. Then two days after the call from Alex, Josh called to see how it was going with the new Tuscon. I explained the situation to him, as well, even though I knew it really had nothing to do with him. Josh has always been so considerate and responsive; I was sure I'd hear back from him. He said he would talk to Alex and get back to me. I've heard nothing more from either of them. I realize they've gotten what they wanted out of me at this point - a sale and a clean transaction in their books. All dealerships are fighting for relationships with buyers and this one would have been SO easy for them to maintain. They haven't. Very disappointing. More

Wouldn't recommend unable to fix problems. Manager seems non existent and when contacted problems only get worse. Suggests using competent people not here. Sadly I NEEDED to work with these jokers as the dealership from which I acquired my ‘22 Genesis no longer exists. As a result all service and future sales issues needed Bloomington Hyundai. Never dealership from which I acquired my ‘22 Genesis no longer exists. As a result all service and future sales issues needed Bloomington Hyundai. Never returned calls, and terrible customer service! Went in for prepaid maintenance and they didn’t even reset the “idiot” lights on dash telling me service was due and windshield washer solvent reservoir was empty. Now I have to stare at it daily. Then the piece d resistance was when I attempted to acquire another Genesis, they tried to lowball me and never asked to see my car. Totally contradicted and stepped all over proposal one of their own salespeople gave me! Attitude displayed: we don’t need your business! Avoid these clowns! More

Their general manager bullied me to the point that I was crying over the phone. They gave me the wrong bill and then charged me 4 times as much as the bill listed. They returned the car to me dirty and without any gas in the tank. More

TERRIBLE experience servicing my Genesis at this service dept. Multiple trips were required to fix a handful of simple problems which were under warranty. Communication was horrendous and needed to contin dept. Multiple trips were required to fix a handful of simple problems which were under warranty. Communication was horrendous and needed to continuously be initiated by me in order for the work to get done. Documentation of work performed throughout the ordeal was sloppy at best. I initially escalated to the Service Manager but had little to no luck there and it was only after escalating to the General Manager of the dealership that I got any type of service whatsoever. Once the warranty expires I will most definitely not be going back. If I had the option of zero stars I would have rated it that way. More
