I was a recent first time customer, and I was very disappointed in this dealership. My service was a four wheel alignment and change over winter tires to summer tires. I was overcharged $80 above qu disappointed in this dealership. My service was a four wheel alignment and change over winter tires to summer tires. I was overcharged $80 above quoted price, and the extra charges consisted of a diagnosis charge and shop fees. I gave the service rep my work and phone numbers and times to reach me at each number. I got no phone call so I called a few times, but I didn't get a call back and found a voice mail at home that evening. I prearranged to pick up my car the following day, so it was at that time that I was told of the diagnosis. If I'd been called while the car was being serviced, perhaps some of the repairs could have been made same day. I was also told that after the repairs, I'd need another alignment! Instead, I was told what was needed repaired next day, but the service rep didn't have any pricing and was supposed to email me later. He did assure me, when I asked, that the repairs needed were nothing serious or they wouldn't have released the car. I had to contact the dealership several times over the next week, including leaving messages for the service rep and the service manager, before someone finally emailed me a quote of repairs needed. In this quote, I found that the mechanic reported along with several brake services needed, that my brakes were in such poor condition that my "brake lines may pop". I was very concerned that I was allowed to leave the dealership with my car in this condition. I didn't drive it for the following week while I decided what to; repairs or trade in. I decided to trade in, and I did not consider McGee Toyota as a car dealership to shop at for another car because they proved to be unreliable and untrustworthy in their service department. More
