Dented the rear bumper of my CX-5 In least than a year my Mazda CX-5 broke down. I have it towed to Bakersfield Mazda for test and repair. After 3 days they called that my car is ready In least than a year my Mazda CX-5 broke down. I have it towed to Bakersfield Mazda for test and repair. After 3 days they called that my car is ready for pick-up. When I picked up the car a noticeable dent on the rear bumper was made. I call the attention of the asst. service manager to the incident. Since I live in Los Angeles and Bakersield Mazda had no body shop, a note acknowledging the damage to the rear bumper and will reimburse with their local dealer to cover charges was written an d sign. After more than a month after I submitted the estimates and my many phone calls which they promise to return which they did not, still no action. For all of my purchases of new car, I have never experience a total breakdown like the Mazda CX-5 in not even a year plus the so so Mazda Bakersfield Service makes me wonder If I will buy another Mazda again. More

Oil change I waited 3 hours to get an oil change done. They give you a number to text/ call to get updates. after the first two hours I texted got no response. I had an appointment there should have been no reason to wait THREE HOURS! So annoying and unprofessional in my opinion. Should have been given at least a heads up that they were busy if it was going to take so xxxx long. More

Service wait time I like everything about Bakersfield Mazda except the size. The service area is too small for the number of cars they run through it. Sometimes the cars are backed up on to the street waiting to get registered. Leaving the service area is like navigating a maze, given all of the sale cars parked along the way out. The waiting area could be improved. There is a lot of idle space going unused. The refreshment offerings have improved - thank you. More

Car was serviced for wheel berring replacement The service was very expensive, over $1500. But the work was done by Mazda experts and they provided me with a courtesy shuttle and eventually a court The service was very expensive, over $1500. But the work was done by Mazda experts and they provided me with a courtesy shuttle and eventually a courtesy car for 3 days, while they worked on my car. Although it was expensive- they did what they could to help me (transportation) and I am certain the work was done well. They also were very good about communicating with me anout the status of my car. They sent updates and that was very important to me- to know that they were keeping me updated with what was going on. More

Everyone very helpful and friendly. We had a misunderstanding at my 5k oil warranty change for my Mazda 3. By the time I left it was cleared up and I drove away in a brand new lease! A 2018 CX-5 much more suited to my needs of every day life. My dealer Melisa was the sweetest person I think I have ever met. My mother was with me and she was likewise impressed with her and how she tried to fight for us and made us so at ease. More
