Alan and Mike have always been very low key in their presentation and approach, and we therefore have never felt pressured during any part of the process. The people - sales and service - are just outstanding. They are friendly, helpful, courteous, knowlegeable, and a credit to the Faulkner dealership and to Toyota. I live in Liverpool NY, which is a suburb of Syracuse. I was looking for a particular Camry in my local area, and checked several of my local Toyota dealerships and could not find the exact car I wanted. I was looking for a particular Camry in my local area, and checked several of my local Toyota dealerships and could not find the exact car I wanted. I then went to cars.com to do a more broader search, and ended up finding the car at Faulkner Toyota. I proceeded to call the dealership which was on a Saturday and ended up talking to Alan Rhode who is the sales person. Alan was more than pleasant and willing to help me. He ended up passing me over to his Sales Manager who is Steve Harris. In roughly 20 minutes, Steve had evaluated my trade and provided an offer for my car. He then asked what I wanted to pay for the new car. Within another 10 minutes we had a deal. I placed a deposit on the car, and proceeded to the dealership on the following Wednesday... 4 days later to complete the purchase. It was a 4 hour drive one way. When I arrived at the dealer, it was everything I had expected and more. I could not have felt more welcome to be there. There were no suprises and everything went exactly as planned. Alan was very accomodating to my questions. Knowing I had a 4 hour drive back home, Alan was brief yet very very thourough about the transaction. Once I arrived home I noticed a small chip in the hood. I called Alan and he immediately told me not to worry, and that he would mail to me some touch-up paint to take care of it. Alan also went above and beyond with providing to me a front license plate bracket (AT NO CHARGE $84 part!!) so I could meet the legal requirements of NYS. In summary, Faulkner Toyota provided to me hands down THE best car buying experience I have ever had. If I had the ability to move this dealership closer to my home I would. Dealerships in my area have a lot to learn in comparison to my experience with Alan Rhode and Steve Harris. WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! More
