Just purchased a 2025 BMW iX at So Bay BMW. Al Asghari was our sales rep and I can't praise him enough for his professionalism and patience. We even had to return the next morning due to a scuff that we did not see when we picked up the car at night and within minutes he had the scuff buffed out and back to us and ready to roll. Unbelievable Poor customer service comment presented based on true facts of the Service department failing to meet standards of a luxury car company and lacking basic knowledge of their own business. From the first representative who picked up the service call—>to the last person to handle my brand new, BMW iX was supremely unhelpful, lazy and less than mediocre customer service experience. The iX is a FULL ELECTRIC vehicle and I had mistakenly left my car not charging the night before. The moment I received the car warning I was running out of charge, I had 6 miles left and I needed 9 miles to get back to my house. I called my dealership and explained the situation and asked if they could help me charge my car for a couple of minutes so I would be able to safely get to my house. The man brushed me off and provided the blanket statement “you need to call BMW roadside assistance”. I said ‘ok but I’m 2 miles away from your dealership and that’s where I got my car’. He replied that there was level 2 (the free chargers that are in shopping lots) available and to use those. He explained they are using the fast charging ports for the new cars that have come in. I pulled into the lot, it was not a busy morning, and found the level 2 charging port; however, the service representative did not provide me the important information one must have a membership to that specific company. I already have a charging membership and was not intending to provide my credit card information for another car charging port; especially since I needed less than 5 minutes for my car to charge for 3 miles. I walked in to the dealership and talked with the front desk for assistance with getting 3 miles of charge for me to get home. The front desk rep called over a valet to get my iX charged. The valet , Darryl, walked around here and there (all around the square) with the disbelief that he was asked to assist. He found a sales person on the lot to help him. Finally, the valet dropped my car off at a service spot to receive the critical charge. I was greatly appreciative, and he walked away hurriedly. I realized that he still had my car key and called out to him. He kept walking away and I called him back. He turned around from inside the dealership and yelled annoyed “it’s inside the car.” My car is brand new and impeccably clean— I could not see where he left my key. I asked “where inside?”. He did not move from inside the door and furthering unhelpful demeanor “inside the car”. I finally got heated, asked him to hand me my keys. He turned his bald head all the way around like a python and walked back to point to where he left the key. This debacle took close to 45 mins on a slow day. I would not recommend this Service department as they do not have the Golden rule to be their standard. How the Service department could be improved: take ownership over representation of the dealership and understand that customers come back for the service— not just selling them a car. More

Brad seemed like a nice guy. He returned my Phone call regarding Christian buying my X2. My lease was up. I called Brad back leaving a voicemail that I didn’t like Christian or working with him. I wanted to work with Brad I was more comfortable with him. Christian was arrogant and cold. Brad never called me back and went to Christian and told him I don’t like him. So when I went in to see Christian he acted like a child and refused to help me. Thank you Brad for turning on a long time customer and helping ruin my experience with BMW. You could have done much better. More

Christian has no Integrity. He was going to buy my X2 and because I didn’t like him and didn’t want to work with him, he said he bought five x2’s and didn’t need my car. I’ve been a BM W owner for over 20 yrs and BMW just treated me like I don’t matter. Very, very disappointed. More

This took a me while to write. I purchased an X3 last year. The salesman was willing to work with me…but couldn’t get any price lower that the dealer incentives ( make me feel like I’m winning!). Ok, I got over it…the real issue came with Finance. Mike had packages to sell without any price…until I “selected” what I wanted. We went back and forth saying that that was the way BMW works. Really? I guess if I had to ask, I couldn’t afford it. Then the interested rate was off to me. So much that a month later BMW sent me a letter stating that an error had been done and my interest rate was lower. I went to another BMW dealer to finance my wife’s car. And their finance guy had the prices! I shared with him what happened and he said he’d never heard of that. Beware. Be vigilant. Do your homework. And if it doesn’t feel right…it’s not right! More

South Bay BMW is the place to buy! I've been doing research and test driving cars for the last 6 months. I wanted a luxury car that would meet all of my needs and wants. I visited South I've been doing research and test driving cars for the last 6 months. I wanted a luxury car that would meet all of my needs and wants. I visited South Bay BMW about 3 times not expecting much, but each time Al Asghari put forth his best effort to help me. There was no pressure, Al help me along the way to find the exact car that I wanted. I was very specific on certain things, and Al made sure I got what I ask for. I end up purchasing a 2019 X3, and with additional help from Holland and Michael from the Finance Services, I was able to get my dream car. It's almost been a month now and I have no regret in getting the car. If you are on the market of purchasing a new/used car, don't hesitate to stop by South Bay BMW and ask for Al Asghari. You will get the best buying experiences, I promise! More

Great service and a great buying experience. We purchased a Pre-Owned Certified 535I from Al. We had worked with Al before during our search several months ago. Al made the process seamless and We purchased a Pre-Owned Certified 535I from Al. We had worked with Al before during our search several months ago.
