First, I am a Kia (manufacturer) customer for life; fantastic vehicles, great price, and they absolutely stand behind their product. Probably not returning to the dealership service department however fantastic vehicles, great price, and they absolutely stand behind their product. Probably not returning to the dealership service department however. When i got there for my appointment, no one spoke to me, at all, for almost 15 minutes. When I was spoken to I definitely felt like a secondary priority, and it looked like everyone else received the same treatment.At the checkin I was asked if I had replaced my brakes yet, because "they told me at my last two oil changes that it needed to be done". I was not told that and on reviewing my paperwork it said that the breaks were in very good condition. I had a medical appointment for a little over 2 hour from then so I said I would wait and make an appointment for next week. I was assured they could complete all the work in time but I decided not to risk it. I was then told I had to sign a waver before I left because of the safety concerns (before they even saw the vehicle). Two and half hours later they pulled my van out (fortunately my next appointment was very accomodating, I do recomend Target Optical for a great experience), telling me that they were only able to change the oil and were not able to complete any of the safety checks or other services...oh yeah and they charged more than they said. Although I was planning to come back for the brakes, I will now be going to the mechanic that the rest of my family swears by. More
