Surprised they don’t have a class action lawsuit against them yet Worst Loanshark disguised as a “dealership” Ever !!!!!! (and I buy a new car every 2-3yrs) They are in the business of bait and switch/sca them yet Worst Loanshark disguised as a “dealership” Ever !!!!!! (and I buy a new car every 2-3yrs) They are in the business of bait and switch/scamming and taking advantage of vulnerable people #1- came an hour to buy a 2024 BMW no financing needed but learned what you see on line is NOT the price you will get especially if you have your own financing or plan to buy cash or check they will become rude and arrogant and try to force you into financing through them so they can take advantage of you (literally told us if we don’t finance through them they will not sell us the car even though it’s been on the lot over 100 days and that “it will eventually sell”) Major Red flag!!!!!!!! They go so far as to tell you if you paying cash to just let them run your credit and finance through them and after 1st payment just pay it off so they can make more money. This is a scam so that they can add a bunch of fees onto that loan put a high interest rate on you and charge you for things that you are not aware of with hidden fees … Why else would they try to force you into financing with them and refuse to allow you to come with your own financing or pay cash? Ohhh The salesman told us that the reason the price online is misleading and lot lower is because “Huntley is in the middle of nowhere, and if they did not put lower prices online that no one would come there” Scam! Scam! Scam! #2- They have so many consistent negative reviews and complaints but what I find funny is this loanshark/“dealership” every night goes out it’s way to have a cluster of fake positive reviews posted that all seem to be pretty much the same to filter out all the bad ones lmao All the salesman and so called manager is unprofessional and rude and lack customer service…. Remember, if something seems too good to be true RUN!!!!!!especially at Hartley Ford So let’s get to the story Came in to buy a 2024 BMW after Receiving a annoyingly amount of calls and text from them after inquiring presented them the confirmed price we got online and through email from them confirming the price out the door, but when we got there, they told us that if we don’t finance through them that we cannot have that price after my fiancé, who is a attorney made them aware of their unethical and illegal practices And threatened to sue, they finally agreed to allow us to use our check through Navy Federal just so they can cover their xxx from legal issues but then they hit us with a “you can’t take the car home until the check clears in about a week” First off I have never heard of a dealership doing that so then my fiancé tells the manager that he will wire the full amount of money for them to hold until the check clears and again the manager says No My fiancé, went as far as to letting them know that he can draw up a legal contract, but still they refused it. They were basically making it impossible for us to purchase Because in reality, they never wanted us to purchase it, but they also wanted to avoid any legal issues Finally after Going back-and-forth as to why they will not allow us to take the car home We were then told by the manager that they will not Let us take the car home Even if we wired them the cash to hold and wrote up a contract in case check won’t clear…. That makes no sense, especially with a federally funded check that I have never had a issue with in the past at any other dealership Come to find out navy federal, denied them the funds on many occasions in the past because a lot of the cars Huntley ford sells have hidden issues and conditions versus the reality of the car. And to think if I Would’ve done what Huntley Ford wanted me to do and financed through them and paid it off with my Navy Federal check after the first payment I probably would’ve been denied by navy federal and stuck with Huntley fords horrible loan terms and high fees MAJOR RED FLAG!!!!!!!! Extremely Disappointed with the Customer Service. Update: After raising a complaint with the floor manager, the number plates were finally provided, total 2 hrs waiting. However, I was then told to pay an additional $126 or leave. This is after them charging me for plates already. Things escalated quickly, with a staff member named Musah getting unnecessarily agitated. Original Review: I recently purchased a new car from this dealership - Sales Guy was Eric, but the sales closing experience has been far from satisfactory. On the day of purchase, they were unable to transfer my existing plates, citing unclear reasons. They assured me that it would be resolved the next day and promised to contact me. I requested to handle the process via email, as returning to the dealership requires a one-hour drive. The next day, I called three times, left messages for their finance teams, and never received a call back. Frustrated, I decided to drive in two days later, only to be told by the finance person that my trip was unnecessary as they would not process the plates for at least 4 more hours. I am still waiting, no updates so far. Promises made to be done maximum in 30 mins. Let’s see. The entire process could have been handled in under 10 minutes or without me even coming in, yet the lack of communication and disregard for customer time made this an incredibly frustrating experience. It’s disappointing to see such poor treatment of an existing customer. More

What a joke. Looked up several vehicles online to check out. When we arrived we were told that two of them were on an open recall list and we couldn't even see th Looked up several vehicles online to check out. When we arrived we were told that two of them were on an open recall list and we couldn't even see them to see if we would like to wait for the recall to be fixed. Asked about another vehicle to check out and was told it was "on a test drive" I plainly saw this vehicle parked when we arrived and it was within line of sight the entire hour we were there. Finally found a car to test drive, and when I went to hand the salesman the keys for our trade so he could check it out while we were on the test drive and he said "I am coming with on the drive". I have never had a sales person demand to come on a test drive. I advised he my wife and I would not be driving the vehicle and would be purchasing elsewhere. When I told him the other vehicle he said "was on a test drive" was right next to the one he brought us too and had never left the lot in the hour we spent there he started yelling. We left and purchased at another dealer. I would prefer to keep my money local but will never return to Huntley Ford, and would advise anyone else interested in a vehicle to do the same. More

Trying to buy a 23 Ford F-150 for $58,000. They would not deal on the price, okay. Agreed to pay there internet price of $58,000. So now you would expect to pay that $58,000 plus tax of 7.25% They would not deal on the price, okay. Agreed to pay there internet price of $58,000. So now you would expect to pay that $58,000 plus tax of 7.25% $4233.00 plus title and license correct?Nope, there price is now $75,000!The old bait and switch practice. After telling them all the things i didn't want there final offer was $68,000! So $58,000 plus tax title and license does NOT equal $68,000.!Also they insisted you finance the deal thru there finance company so they get there "kick back" as the salesman put it. I wanted to write a check for the truck. Needless to say i did NOT buy after wasting 2 hours of my time. Why anyone would buy here is a mystery to me. Don't know how they would do business like this? I bought a new Lincoln last year and didn't have issues like this.Will keep looking ,more than one Ford dealership around. Buyer Beware! More

Once home looking over the flash drive. I see the sale price disappeared. Upsell of $2500.00. I did agree to the extra warranty. So they really made out on the bait and switch. Asked for trade in offer to which the low balled by $5000.00 from Kelly Blue book offer. I did not trade in. Only thing I did make out on was crossing the border the truck was cheaper. Stay far away from this place. More
