I bought a brand new 2026 Silverado and reported that the transmission was jumping the day after I bought it. I talked to my salesman about it and he said not to worry, sometimes it takes a little time to b transmission was jumping the day after I bought it. I immediately asked if I could return it and take a different pickup with the exact same sticker to replace it. I was told they couldn't do that because they couldn't sell the one I had as new. Despite the website saying, "If, for whatever reason, you don’t like your new vehicle just bring it back for a return or exchange." I was told no. I'm not comfortable with a brand new pickup needing transmission components replaced in the first week I've had it! More
