If you like wasting your time or perhaps observe an example of complete and utter incompetence, this is the place for you. I brought in my Ioniq 5 for service last year for some recalls, an inopera example of complete and utter incompetence, this is the place for you. I brought in my Ioniq 5 for service last year for some recalls, an inoperative USB data port for CarPlay and inoperative over the air updates. The service advisor was very dismissive and said that Hyundai’s don’t do over the air updates. Well, the Ioniq 5 was one of the first cars to offer that for some features and other users were getting their updates but mine weren’t working despite being subscribed to the blue link. Regarding the USB issue, again the service advisor was dismissive. I was told that my phone port probably needs to be cleaned, or that I’m probably using the wrong type of cable. This is an early model Ioniq 5 and others were having a similar issue of CarPlay constantly disconnecting. The known fix was to replace the USB port. But they didn’t want to listen to me and they did a “reset” of the radio system. When I got the car back, the USB issue was still present as ever and the OTA updates didn’t work. So I brought in the car recently again for another recall and the same issues with the USB and OTA’s. They said that they have to charge me a $250 diagnostic fee. I asked why if the car is still under the warranty. The service advisor said, that maybe I won’t be charged the fee but I still have to sign the form to allow the charging of the fee. I asked the service advisor what determines if I’m charged the fee? She said that she didn’t know!! What? This is your job!!! Finally I spoke to the manager and she said that the fee is charged if something outside the warranty is found to be the issue (flood damage, etc.). Ok this made sense but I don’t understand why the service advisor doesn’t know this simple fact. After leaving the car with them, they fixed the recall issue but said they needed to order the USB port. (Which they should have done on my first visit). They said the part will arrive in 2 days so I said they can keep the car and fix it when the part arrives. After 2 days it turns out they ordered the wrong part. So I pickup the car and they said the new part will be in next week and someone would call me. 2 weeks goes by and no phone call. So I called them and they had the part but hadn’t received the call. Finally they replaced the USB port and now CarPlay works. If they were more receptive the first time, or just cared enough to do a good thorough job I wouldn’t have to make 3 visits to get this fixed. OTA updates still don’t work though. I will never recommend a Hyundai to anyone again after these experiences. There is a book out there called “The Art of not giving a f—k.” It must have been written by Paramus Hyundai staff because this is where they really shine. More

made an appt to bring my husband’s high-end Hyundai here on 2/19/24. My husband and I each drove separate cars, 1 hour round trip to drop the car off. Despite me having given the scheduling agent ALL the on 2/19/24. My husband and I each drove separate cars, 1 hour round trip to drop the car off. Despite me having given the scheduling agent ALL the correct car info, (make, model and year) and a full clear list of all the items we needed fixed for the service appt, when we arrived we were told that that particular service center could not address 2 of the 3 issues we had. I was so annoyed bc our time was wasted. I left and proceeded to make a series of ten phone calls, asking for managers and escalating the issue. I left 3 VMs for 3 different managers explaining in detail the issue we had and asking for a call back. NOT one single person has called back to date. I also spoke live to Sammatha, 3 times that day and she assured me that her boss, Heather would call me back. Well, it’s been 5 days and no word from Heather. Why? because NO ONE cares. That is the level of service you get when you buy an 80K car. We are better off with our local mom and pop gas station mechanic where we live. I just called them again on 2/23/24 and spoke with Constantinos in the service dept. I asked him for Heather, he said he didn’t know who that was, but put me on hold for 6 minutes and came back and said the manager would call me back. I asked what the managers name was and he said “we are not allowed to give out that info” Really? What kind of crap is that? You know she isn’t calling back either. Seriously, go elsewhere More

This review had to be written on a friends computer because when I went to their website, Paramus Hyundai denied my access and does not want to to post a review. The very worst dealership in New Jersey because when I went to their website, Paramus Hyundai denied my access and does not want to to post a review. The very worst dealership in New Jersey. Thieves and unprofessional people work there. The finance manager took advantage of an old man and publicly humiliated me. I never bought a car before and was naïve about the tactics of car dealers. I bought a car, tricked into signing, and wound up paying $12,000.00 over list price. Not a typo, 12,000.00 over list. When I asked the General manager to show me the the extras from the contract that added up to $12,000.00 over list, he told me to see the finance manager. When I explained I lost trust in this man for over charging me 12,000.00 over list and would like to talk to someone else, the General manager, in front of other costumers and employees then called me "a little sh8t." I was embarrassed and humiliated and still bothered by such treatment. Even subtraction dealers fees, taxes, and interest, only came to $3000.00 but still $9,000.00 over list. I insisted of being shown how I paid $12,000.00 over list till the finance manager offered me $4000.00 to as he said, "make this go away. I would have agreed, but I would have to sign now, but get paid in six weeks. I said, pay me now, and yes, this will go away, but wouldn't' do that. Also, the name the finance manager used, was really not his name. Why? This place is full of liars and thieves with no soul. Even cooperate wouldn't even take my call after I told them the story. I am calling the tax fraud number because of the fake name. Who knows, that finance manager might be holding back taxes. This is not over, lawyers are involved now. I know I wont get money back, but I want people to know so it may not happen to them. I will be writing reviews about Paramus Hyundai on many other computers, because as I said, my access is denied because this dealership does not want this kind of story out. Also, when I do get to read other reviews, its always the same thing. Thieve, liars, and terribly professionalism. this is actually the short version of this story, but like I said, a had to use a friends computer and I don't want to abuse the time. More
