2024 Maserati GranCabrio Recall

Description of Recall:
Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2024 GranTurismo and GranCabrio vehicles. The body control module (BCM) software may display an incorrect fuel level, which can result in an unexpected engine stall while driving.
Action Need To Fix It:
Dealers will update the BCM software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 16, 2024. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 749.

2024 Maserati GranCabrio Recall
Item Affected: BACK OVER PREVENTION: SOFTWARE

Description of Recall:
Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Grecale, 2023-2025 MC20 Cielo, 2024 Granturismo, GranCabrio, 2021-2024 Levante, Ghibli, Quattroporte, and 2022-2025 MC 20 vehicles. The radio software may prevent the rearview image from displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Action Need To Fix It:
The radio software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 21, 2025. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 740.
