David Villalobos, the manager, refused to charge lower than what is reasonably appropriate through his discretion after hearing multiple requests. I would understand if this led to a repair to lock the service in, but it is unnecessary for my case.
At a time when people are struggling and heading toward the holidays, any sound of discretion, understanding, and compassion helps. From my observation of this case, this manager and dealership have a culture of prioritizing profit over its customers. I will no longer buy or take my vehicle here from a business with such cultural practices. Instead, I will take it to Roseville, where the diagnostics are much cheaper and account for the travel.
