Very poor communication from sales person James, and horrible customer service from the manager! I had been working with James to find a 2025 Chevy Tahoe that checked all my boxes (I know they are hard to come by). In short, I was the one doing the leg work and finding the vehicles that fit my needs and sending him the information. There was always an excuse of why they couldn’t get it, but with the lack of communication from a customers point of view it just seemed they didn’t want my business. When an allocation for a custom build on a 2025 Chevy Tahoe became available to me I informed him that I was still interested (but out of town) and would call later that afternoon to go over the details and provide my deposit. To my surprise when I called, James informed me that the manager had already submitted the build that I didn’t approve. James told me I had 72 hours to make changes and it would be no problem. Less than 24 hours later, I reached out to James via text (which was read) with my changes and that I was ready to move forward. I waited for 1-2 hours for him to get back to me, which he did not (I had to follow up again with him) I was told that the manager didn’t want to send the e-mail to make the changes, that it would be too hard to do so. James said that they had another custom allotment the following week and that I could have that one. We’ll guess what…that was over 2 weeks ago and he still has not called or followed up with me. In the meantime I had submitted a quote request via the Chevy website that reached out to 3 other dealers and ALL of them got back to me within 30-60 minutes! By the end of the day the sales people and managers had followed up with me multiple times and even found vehicles that checked all the boxes that they could get for me. James at Lithia obviously didn't seem to put in much effort to earn my business and I would not recommend this dealership!!
