Not just by the salesperson, but everyone involved like the loan guy and also the guy from the service department that came over after I had purchased to go over every feature in detail no matter how long it took. I was looking for a new car but not seriously when i stopped at El Cajon Kia. I was interested in a Kia Stinger and they happen to have three to choose from. Kelsey was great, no pressure sales tactics and polite conversation on the test drive. Negotiating went as expected, dealer add ons were offered and i declined. Paid the sticker price. I came in late and they didnt rush me out of there. I found an issue with the bumper before i left and asked if it could be re-painted. The first attempt was disappointing. Very poor quality with lots of defects. I asked them to paint it again, i liked the car and didnt want to walk away. The second time took a week but a loaner vehicle was provided. When i picked it up it looked fantastic! Very thankful for the Kia Team, Kelsy, Juan, and Tony, for working with me on this. and now i have a car i love!

I traded in my 2021 Kia Soul for a 2025 model at Ball Kia and had a very frustrating experience. No one advised me to stop the auto-payments on the old vehicle, which led to an unnecessary payment being withdrawn after I no longer owned the car. I spoke to both Alejandro Sherer (sales) and Jeff Spitz (management) about the issue. I was told multiple times that I’d be reimbursed and that it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, no one followed through. I also emailed them—no reply. Worse, the dealership did not honor the agreed-upon trade-in payoff listed in our contract. The signed contract stated a payoff of $8,740.57, but they only paid $8,341.52 (after my extra payment cleared). This is not acceptable. Adding to the concern, I was offered a free tank of gas to return and fill out their survey—an “off the record” deal from the salesperson, which felt like a way to suppress honest reviews. Ball Kia had multiple chances to resolve this and ignored all of them. Poor communication, broken promises, and failure to honor the contract. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.
