I came in looking for a Mazda 3 Sedan after a long search and didn't see any used ones in the lot, spoke to Zion a young professional ambitious courteous salesman through his attentive conversation mentioned they do get some in time to time but they go fast. I inquired how often and he mentioned they had a sister store in Rockford. I asked if he could check there online to see if any were in route or how soon or if any there. He did, found one, and was aggressive and assertive enough to immediately ask him manager as his initiative to bring it to the Crystal Lake store the next day so I could conveniently check it out locally. Zion immediately ask Branch Manager Dan B. who came out to meet and speak with me briefly and was only too happy to get it transferred over to get looked at the next day and could not have been nicer. Zion was quick to realize I would have likely gone to Rockford to see and buy and smart enough to initiate the transfer for their sale and share the information he had to help me find the car I was meant to find and buy there. Smart, attentive, courteous, and knows how to close, easy going about letting customers test drive and check out cars. Zion easy going, easy to reach, follows up well, does what he says and keeps his word. He will be excellent employee for years to come and helped make the purchase a breeze. Followed up after car purchase to make sure I got spare Key Fob. The whole staff is great and friendly. Great experience after others that were not. Very glad I stopped that day and bought local and asked a few questions of Zion. He made that sale happen with basic courtesy, customer service, and seizing the moment to make a sale happen with initiate and quick thinking.

I recently purchased new CX-5 Mazda . You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming " pushy salesman". And then....they don't come. Instead, you get friendly people who don't try to "push"anything on you. They're helpful. They're listen. They're accommodating. This was our experience with Oscar Rodriguez. Oscar was very forthcoming and patient. He provided 5 star service at every step. I highly recommend this dealership.

My experience with Libertyville Mazda following the purchase of a new vehicle in December 2024 has been profoundly negative and indicative of serious operational shortcomings. Firstly, the Business Manager, Gabriel, failed to provide me with a complete set of contractual documents at the time of purchase. Secondly, I was pressured by Gabriel to purchase additional coverage. I promptly requested the cancellation within one week and received assurances that the necessary paperwork would be processed. However, after three months, I contacted Mazda Finance and the insurance provider and they confirmed that Libertyville Mazda never submitted the cancellation request. This failure to fulfill a basic administrative obligation is deeply troubling. The lack of accountability and the dealership's continued silence regarding the reason for this oversight are unacceptable. To date, no explanation has been offered. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Libertyville Mazda as a reputable dealership. I strongly advise prospective buyers to exercise extreme caution, particularly regarding any additional coverage offered by the finance department.
