We had the absolute best experience dealing with Bowman Chevrolet of Clinton. Lacey and Meghan were amazing to work with and the made the whole process so easy and seamless. From the moment I connected with Lacey to inquire about a vehicle, all the way through driving off the lot less than 24 hours later, she was the best salesperson I have ever dealt with in a vehicle transaction. We drove from over an hour away to pick up our vehicle and it was worth the drive! Lacey took the time to show me all of the new features in my vehicle and was just such a wonderful person to deal with. I would highly recommend Lacey and the team at Bowman. RUN!! Read the bad reviews first! Read their BBB complaints and Attorney general reports. They will cover up anything they can on their vehicles, management is nasty and corrupt, and they will do anything for a quick buck. They seem to buy bad cars, hide the issues, then sell them before those issues become visible again. Dozens of people have reported the exact same thing over the past 3 or 4 years. And those are just the ones reporting it. These guys are so shady. They tried to sell us a warranty that we found out would have immediately been void if we bought it, and they knew it the whole time. For the record, all of their salespeople and service staff are fine people. It’s just management that’s downright dirty. And they will fight you for every penny. They do NOT care about you at all. Do NOT sign a single document. Do NOT let them run your credit. Do NOT give them your information. And no matter what you do, don’t buy a vehicle from them.

Purchased a used vehicle from Roy at this dealership. Roy was great, answered all our questions, got our monthly price under what we wanted. Overall great experience with him. However, we have not had the vehicle 2 weeks and already have to replace a wheel bearing and brakes. I thought a dealership would have checked over all these items and told us up front if they needed replaced or would have done it during their inspection when it was traded in.

My check engine light came on my Chevy Equinox. I called Thayer Chevrolet and they fit me right in. They told me it would take about an hour to diagnose the problem (this was even before I brought it in). I was good with that. When I walked in they were so friendly, didn't even ask if I had bought the car there (I didn't) they automatically treated me like I was a long time customer. Thank goodness this was covered under the cars warranty (where I was going to take it they didn't even mention the warranty). Trisha from Thayer actually took the time to make sure it was covered under the warranty before they did any further work. While they were taking care of that they found I needed rear brakes, an oil change and a new filter (I was kind of aware I needed all of this). Trisha let me know if they could keep the car for one more day they could have it all done for me and the coupon I brought in would be applied to these services. When I went to go pick up my car they actually apologized for keeping it so long (only three days). At no time did I ever complain about them having my car. Thank you Thayer Chevrolet for taking care of me like I was one of the family.

We stopped in unexpectedly while passing through on our trip home without an appointment due to car trouble, Shane was able to diagnose our Buick and found the problem and had it fixed in an hour. The only Buick service center around with later hours on Thursday. Highly recommend! Also, great customer service and facility!

The only reason I purchased the vehicle from here was because the build I was looking for was a hard find. Despite the vehicle having pitted wheels (which I later discovered when I tried to detail the car thinking it was just grime from sitting outside all winter), and two deep scratches on the fender that they were very matter-of-fact about and basically told me "it is what it is", and it being a former rental (which we all know how well those get taken care of), they hardly budged on the price, gave my trade-in less than KBB value in good condition (and believe me, it was), and I got the overall feeling that they felt I should be grateful for buying a car from them, rather than the other way around. The break light needed replaced; one thing they actually did without hesitation. When I came back when the part came in, I inquired about a rotation and alignment (8,500 miles - so worth a check) I was basically scoffed at by the guy at the desk in the service department and told I'd be paying to have it checked if I wanted to. Really? I just drove the car off the lot two days ago. You got my money, so now my needs no longer matter? I've never been back since. I feel very let down the more I think about it and the more time goes on. I wish I could say I've been to the same dealership more than once for a car. Snyder is #4 and is no different from the rest of them, yet they act like they stand apart. When you're looking for a car and the Napoleon exit is coming up, just keep driving...
