Everett Chevrolet Buick GMC of Morganton The Hickory office is adequate, but its collision and body shop repair center is subpar. In contrast, the Morganton location is exceptional. I primarily interact with Alex in the service department, and he is outstanding. He is always busy because he is the best and consistently delivers excellent results. For instance, when I dropped off my car this morning, he called me in advance to ensure I would have a loaner vehicle if mine was not ready by evening. He is truly impressive. The service manager is excellent as well—I forget his name, but he is always present and attentive to customers. Without this service department, I likely would not remain with this dealership. Do not get me wrong: Neil, the sales associate with whom I have handled my past two car purchases, is fantastic. However, post-sale, it is the maintenance and service teams I deal with most. The maintenance department is very friendly. The staff who schedule appointments over the phone are always courteous and polite. Even when I do not work with Alex—which is rare—the other service personnel step up, remaining kind, polite, and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about them. This dealership earns five stars for service and maintenance.

Purchased a 2024 gmc canyon 9-5-25 and was told it would be ready next day (Saturday) I went Monday it was not ready and they did not attempt to inform me. 30 minutes drive one way wasted. Vehicle was finally delivered 10-20-25!!!! Warranty for vehicle was finally put in place Late December. All through this all communication was initiated by me. This is by far the worse dealership I have worked with in the past 50 years! Beware, they promise but do not deliver, they do not know their business from manager to sales person to finance person.

Skip this dealership and go elsewhere in Asheville/Morganton/Rutherfordton/Burnsville areas. As an out of state customer, I was interested in a cash $75k+ purchase because the truck I wanted was in their inventory. The salesman was irritated that I had not read an email he sent with the final numbers on the evening that he emailed them to me. I told him that I reviewed them the next morning and had a couple of questions. I asked Mr. McNeely two questions about the accessories on the truck and whether the delivery fee could be waived. He immediately said, "you are just making this too hard and we either get this done today or we're going to have to move on." This was literally within three days of my first contact with the Sales Manager and my second conversation with McNeely. I was, and continue to be, dumbfounded. Business must be great for this dealership to treat a new customer this way that would have probably closed on the deal the next day and picked it up in the next few days (since they wouldn't waive the delivery fee). I live 200 miles away and work full time and have a family...not an unreasonable request. After thinking through it, my guess is another customer drove onto the lot and wanted the vehicle. Proves these folks (Sales and Management) have no integrity and are simply lazy. Please go elsewhere. Who knows what these people with no character will do to the next unsuspecting customer....just honest feedback folks!

I'd called about an hour bfore I went there and Brandon had it parked iut in front for me when I arrived. We went for a short test drive and began the "negotiation" process. I think we both knew I wanted it, the price we agreed on was very (all thinghs considered) reassonable and we concluded the deal that day and I drove it home that afternoon. Everyone involved from the dealership was cooperative, knowledgable, courteous and the entoire process was, in a word, great.

HAD VEHICLE 4 MONTHS AND STILL DON'T HAVE THE TAG TRANSFERRED TO NEW VEHICLE. CONSTANTLY ASKING FOR THE SAME INFORMATION. THEY CAN NOT GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER. oWNER MORE INTERESTED IN HIS HORSES THAN IN THE DEALERSHIP. HE NEEDS TO SHUT THE DOORS. TALKS A GOOD GAME BUT VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES.
