Dear Mr. Hickman, I had the pleasure of meeting Jordan Lasure; service advisor, last month. After visiting many dealerships, Jordan listened to my plea and had no issue assisting me in finding a solution to repair my 2005 Chevrolet SSR Pickup Truck. He introduced me to one of your mechanics that was familiar with this classic vehicle. His knowledge of and expert troubleshooting was impressive to say the least. Jordan is an excellent communicator who kept me informed during repairs. I picked up my vehicle better then I left it. I did this review because Jordan wouldn’t let me walk away unsatisfied. His can do attitude won me over immediately! Everyone in the service department was professional and treated me with respect every time I visited service. I felt like a new truck owner, but knowing Chevrolet still has a 19 year old truck on the road is a true testimonial they build great vehicles. I’m really not a review customer but felt you needed honest feedback that Parks Chevrolet Huntersville got it right. You all have earned my loyalty. As a retired Marine, recognizing a job done well, above and beyond expectations deserves the highest compliment from the public. I hope you will recognize them as well. Scheduled an oil change for Dec 24 at 830. Make the appt at least a week in advance. Received an email confirmation. Showed up at 815 to an empty garage. Sales manager came over to let me know the service dept was closed all day. I showed him the email conformation. He attempted to make calls with no luck. I left and drove a mile down the road to Hilbish Ford. They brought in the vehicle with no issues. I was going to make a new truck purchase with cash. I was a Chevy man. But as I was waiting on my vehicle oil change, a couple Ford trucks caught my eye. So I am converting to Fords. Congrats Hilbish. You earned my business. Sorry Marburger. I understand mistakes. But in a week you could not catch this mistake.

My truck came from the Mooresville lot but the Hickory sav-a lot did the sale. I had a wonderful salesman.I was told they do the best inspection on all the vehicles that they sell. Well my truck was sold to me with wore front tires like the truck was out of line. Didn’t offer to change the tires. I should have changed my mind about buying from here but I didn’t and I was so excited about the truck having remote start so the next day after buying the truck I tried starting my truck when I was inside my house but couldn’t get it to start. I called Randy Marion cause I thought it would be covered under the 3 mo or 3,000 mile warranty. I was told NO that wasn’t under the warranty but they would pay for the diagnostic test to see what’s wrong with it but I’d be responsible for getting it fixed . This wasn’t a cheap truck . So xxxx NO I’m not a happy customer this should be their responsibility I found out the next day after the sale of this truck that the remote start didn’t work it’s not like I broke it and wanted them to fix it. So if you do buy a vehicle from any of the Randy Marion’s make sure everything works before leaving their lot cause they can’t be doing the best inspection on their vehicles if a mechanic didn’t notice the remote start didn’t work . This is just my experience & opinion..

Very shady dealer practices here. Spent a whole day being told I could get pricing on a vehicle in transit and put money down to hold vehicle from an internet rep. I was transferred to a salesmen in store and talked about trying to get vehicle without the dealer add ons since truck was in transit and not there. Then was told that the add ons will be added no matter what and that I would just have to build the car online outright. Then after discussing that in that case I would just preorder online from Chevy instead of driving 3 hours to get truck. I was then told they can’t negotiate on trucks in transit anymore. Lol. This company practices is why the truck market is heading towards some dreary times. Be careful and watch everything they add on to your cars.

Do not use this dealership! I called to make sure the vehicle was still available and Kevin Smith said it was and he would have it ready for me to view. I drove over an hour to look at it and the vehicle was not even cleaned! After viewing the vehicle I still wanted it. I had a signed offer and a handshake with Kevin Smith. I was about to write a check and Kevin Smith came back and wanted more money! His word and handshake means nothing!

As small business owners, we rarely write negative reviews, as we recognize that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Nevertheless, we advise exercising caution when dealing with Parks Chevrolet in Kernersville, NC, due to challenges with title transfer after a vehicle purchase on December 10th, 2024. Three months after purchasing a truck, we have yet to receive the title, and despite repeated attempts, no one returns my calls. The second temporary tag is near expiration, and it seems they no longer prioritize customer concerns once payment has been made. Please share this information, hopefully, we can get their attention, obtain our title, and finally register our vehicle.

All the work that Mack Brown did on my car wound up having workmanship problems, which were in some cases documented by other dealers and mechanics. The first work I had them do was replace the fuel pump. They replaced the fuel pump and supposedly cleaned out the gas tank as I instructed them. We kept having strange problems with the car cutting out as if losing fuel. We took it back several times but could not get them to fix it. The last time we took it up it sat for a month. When I called for a status he indicated that he had not had time to work on it. I left it there so he would have more time, and after two months they called me up asking what I wanted them to do with the car, to which I replied “Fix the car.” We went up to find the tires flat and the battery dead in the parking lot – these people did not look at this car for three months! I finally had someone else work on it and they took the gas tank off and found it full of rust and dirt and it was clogging the fuel pump filter. Apparently the service people did not clean out the fuel tank when they replaced the pump. We replaced the tank and fuel pump and the car runs fine. In another case I had them replace the transmission. I took the car to another dealer to see why the car shifted funny and they found that Mack Brown had installed the wrong screws in the transmission case and had stripped the metal holes in the case. They had also left off a bracket that helps hold the transmission in place. I paid for it to be fixed and never was compensated by Mack Brown.
