Great job!! I was going to wait for service on my truck, and they offered me a shuttle service for free. I did not even know they had this service available, they dropped me off and picked me up! Was great for me because I work remotely at home, so I was able to get back to work quickly. Next time I plan to utilize their valet service! John Heister is a great dealership to purchase a vehicle from. They care about customer service, and it shows. This is a benefit for customer that purchased their vehicle from Heister.

Thank you for your response, but I must respectfully clarify several important points that were overlooked or misrepresented. First, the only reason the $225 charge was adjusted is because I spoke up and questioned the pricing. There was no proactive transparency or explanation offered—only silence until I pressed the issue. I clearly stated that I did not authorize any additional work beyond the oil change and that I would return to pick up my vehicle. Despite this, the services were performed anyway, directly against my explicit instructions. This is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about your business practices. You stated that supporting documentation was provided, but the intake photos were incomplete—they only showed a portion of the front driver side wheel and window. The photos failed to include any images of the rear driver side wheel (where the caps are now missing) or the bottom of the front driver side door and running board, where new damage was discovered after service. The video sent was a low-quality recording of a video, not clear surveillance footage, and it offered no definitive insight. You also failed to address the fact that I explicitly told your advisor not to perform the services, yet they were done anyway. At that point, I felt forced to pay for services I did not authorize just to avoid further conflict and inconvenience. That is not resolution—that is coercion. The tire rotation was done poorly, leading to noticeable shaking at highway speeds, and I had to seek assistance elsewhere to correct it. I also now have to replace missing wheel caps, which were present before my visit and are now on backorder—causing further unnecessary cost and frustration. This experience has been extremely disappointing, from the lack of transparency and consent to the poor quality of service and follow-up. I expected more from a dealership and its management team. Used to love this dealership - but they CLOSED. I discovered after I had been going to the Southpoint Chevrolet that Performance Chevrolet relocated and merged with Durham Chevrolet and is now HENDRICK CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC SOUTHPOINT. Same great service that I used to get, my advisor retired but there new faces and a BRAND NEW facility. Real nice people over there.

Excellent service, friendly and fast!! Boy has my view changed! Be very wary of purchasing a used car here! I purchased a 2018 GmC Canyon October 29 2024. They were all so great! Got a full 90 day warranty on all components including AC. After 10 days heater would not work. So I am thinking I have the warranty so I take it in. $2700 dollar repair that the “full warranty” refuses to cover. Fast toward to 3-4 days after the warranty runs out, truck won’t start. Turns out the AC compressor, evaporator, and condenser are bad, oh and also the starter! $3800 in repairs! Truck only has 59000 miles. DON’T BUY A USED VEHICLE HERE! Their warranty is not a true full warranty.

Had an appointment for 07:30 today and took my vehicle in to have them repair a wheel stud, check/inspect breaks, and fix a VVT Camshaft solenoid sensor (extremely common problem with Colorado pickup trucks btw). None of the above, would I personally consider time consuming or extremely problematic. I was also introduced to their foreman and I had a very good conversation with him - speaking of how times had changed and how you couldn't really count on things anymore. I honestly (though in retrospect I now feel very gullible) felt I was in really capable hands so I returned home. Having received no word, I decided to call at 3pm. To my shock, they hadn't even seen the truck yet and I guess assumed it was okay to keep it indefinitely without notice or my approval. There was never any suggestion given that it would be kept for an indefinite duration of time whatsoever. After all, I had a locked-in appointment scheduled an again the issues could be resolved quite easily. I see that after all these years my complacency with Powers-Swain got the better of me. Today reminds me of 2 incidents 35 years prior in which my 1989 Z24 was brought in and it took them a week to diagnose and fix a catalytic converter??? And also another incident in which I had locked my keys in same car 7 miles down the road and they would not assist me. I ended up walking 14 miles grand total in 90+ degree heat because they would not give me a ride back. Later the next day, I reviewed my paperwork (as suspected) to find I had purchased a "roadside" policy which would not only cover costs of (locked keys, battery, flat tires, etc.) but required them to assist me if within x-amount of range of the dealership. Livid, I contacted owner Kyle Powers (owner) to voice my concerns that very next day. To my shock, he "was not familiar" with this policy whatsoever though his very salesmen were selling them. So I see after 35 years time this dealership has not improved regarding customer service whatsoever! I will not ever go back and I suggest the following: Always write down your mileage upon entering service of your vehicle wherever that may be. When my 1989 Z24 entered service (for catalytic converter replacement noted prior) it had almost a full tank. However when I finally received it 5 days later it was almost on empty. *I was told, "Well, sometimes the mechanics will go out for lunch". Also read your paperwork, especially in a military town. With our great servicemen coming and going (here today gone tomorrow), a lot of businesses have gotten used to taking advantage of them. Be certain to get everything in writing and likewise read everything! Don't be made a fool like I was! at Powers-Swain!

Tyler has continued to help us with questions etc after my daughter owning the car for 2 months. He is prompt with getting back to me and is always willing to help. That is what I call EXCEPTIONAL customer service. When I decide to buy myself a new car, I know exactly where I will be going and who I will ask for. We can’t thank Tyler enough for all of his help.
