We have purchased several Volvo SUVs from Volvo of Fredericksburg. We always have very positive experiences at this dealership whether it’s for purchases or services. We just made another purchase working with Xavier Washington - Sales. He is very ambitious and excellent to work with. Xavier is extremely knowledgeable about the various trim levels and car features. He reviewed the features, setup our infotainment system and answered all our questions.The dealership treats you like family, working with you to ensure you get the best possible deal. They worked to get the paperwork done quickly and answered any questions. We highly recommend Volvo of Fredericksburg to anyone interested in purchasing or for services.

I had a TERRIFIC experience with Lindsay Volvo. I live in WA state, but the model I wanted was only available on the East Coast. I submitted internet inquiries to several dealerships, and Seamus at Volvo Lindsay got back to me the next morning. I was nervous it would be hard/impossible to lease across the country, but Seamus made it easy and quick. He was super straightforward and honest in his dealings, and had a contract in front of me with zero surprises that same day. Graham was terrific in helping me get signed up with VCSF and helped with paperwork plus some tips about this unusual car, and Markell their manager prepped the car for shipping on their day off since my shipper came by early. After the car arrived here, there was one tiny issue (temporary plates not included) and Graham responded to my email and fixed it on a Sunday! Outstanding job my all involved! By far the best car buying experience in my life and the most trustworthy dealers I've yet dealt with. Could not be happier with everything.

Kelly is the sales manager and she helped to craft a deal that worked for me as the buyer. Sai is the finance rep and he was also knowledgeable and covered pros and cons of add-ons. I love my new 2026 Volvo XC 90!

1 Star Dealership – Based on my experience, I would not recommend to do any business here. I’ve purchased and serviced my vehicles (S60 and XC90) with Beyer Volvo Dulles since 2023, and after my most recent experience, I will not be returning. This specifically includes my interaction with Sales Manager Nick Shields. Here are the facts of my experience: • My XC90 was appraised at $35k in August. • I returned a short time later with only about 1,000 additional miles. • Same vehicle, same condition. • The new appraisal came back at $30k — a $5,000 drop. When I questioned it, Nick Shields didn’t even pretend to help. No negotiation. The explanation I received felt dismissive and unhelpful. There was no willingness to discuss options or try to meet in the middle. I was simply told about “market conditions” and other criteria — meanwhile, very similar XC90s are currently listed on their own lot at much higher prices. This wasn’t the first time I ran into this. When I looked into selling back my S60 (also purchased here), I would have been looking at nearly a $9,000 loss. My personal takeaway: I felt supported when buying the cars, but when it came time to trade or sell, I did not feel the same level of transparency or customer consideration. It came across to me as a dealership model that benefits them heavily on both ends.

I worked with Khalid and Mike (manager of dealership) in putting a 1K deposit down for a 2022 Volvo XC90 T8. I was told that I would have first choice at buying the car, and as you can guess, they sold it to someone else. I cannot stress enough the unprofessional manner in which this "team" conducts itself, while not having any means to hold themselves accountable. I would 100% not recommend working with this dealership.

We had a miserable experience with service at this dealership, not once but repeatedly. Not only do they not accept any responsibility for their mistakes nor try to make it right, they are not communicative, and are disrespectful. For a car brand that markets itself as luxury, this service department delivers otherwise. Highly recommend you seek service elsewhere. We had our Volvo shipped here from the overseas delivery program and needed a new bumper - the paint shop used a color that did not match the rest of the car. When we pointed out that it did not match, they first tried to convince us it did and when that did not work, they tried to say paint adheres differently to metal and plastic (which makes no sense since the paint took fine to metal and plastic on the rest of the car). The kicker to this first experience with them was that they damaged our door handle and tried to hide it from us, even trying to delay our arrival to buy them more time to let the paint set hoping we would not notice. Ultimately, we had to leave with the vehicle as is because they said there was nothing they could do. We brought the vehicle back to have damage to the rim repaired under a tire protection warranty. At first, their vendor put on a finish that was matte instead of gloss. When we reached out to have it corrected, the initial response was accusatory that we did something wrong. They begrudgingly had us bring it back to have it done correctly and they shockingly billed the warranty company again. A couple of months later, the clear coat finish their vendor applied started cracking. When we reached out, the service manager included a screenshot of our "anonymous" survey response in the email and told us we would be better serviced somewhere else (they were right, it turns out). We tried to go elsewhere for this issue, but the warranty company made us go back to Midlothian to have it fixed, since their vendor did the initial work. Once we finally heard back from the service manager, Midlothian refused to do anything. We cc'd their GM, who also did nothing. Save yourself the frustration—take your vehicle somewhere else.

This dealership couldn’t give less of a crap after the sale. Our $60,000 2019 XC60 was in the shop for the same electronic issue five times. Every single time that we made an appointment they said there would be a loaner for us. And every single time they failed and there was no loaner. We still have not had it repaired, because they are awful mechanics. We are unable to lock the vehicle so we have to take everything out of it when we travel to a public parking area. I would drive three hours away to get this thing repaired rather than waste my time with this bunch of woodchucks.
