I asked them to do the annual safety inspection earlier than the month required. They said “yes” and didn’t do it. I asked them to make sure my Michelin tires were at a specific air pressure and they didn’t do it. They took the car back and put correct air pressure but only in tires on the driver’s side. They asked if I wanted a car wash. I said no because I had just washed and wiped the water spots off the car. They returned the car to me wet from a car wash. They took the car back and wiped it down. Now I’m wondering if they did the additional $600 service they suggested and I approved. I don’t have a way to check that unless the car breaks down on the road. Also, the service representative I saw only once, Olivia. Others did her work – she’s young so I guess she was in the back having fun with the guys. Is this normal service under the new Safford management or just disregard for female customers as usual under the old Brown management? Not sure. Everyone was polite and pleasant. But I need correct service.

I love my new car! I went into Safford Brown Mazda Alexandria on Thursday expecting the stereotypical dealership BUT I was pleasantly surprised. After several months of research and several dealerships later, Mazda was a constant in my search. Key players in this lovely experience were Alex Stofko, Yahya Faiz, and one of the managers. As a girl buying her first car, it is daunting, but they improved the process. Even as a ball of nerves, I was given amazing advice and customer service. They went above and beyond. I walked away feeling a bit better as I ran back to work. I came back later in the week so they could go over all the features that my car has as insisted by Yayah. so when I came back, Alex took the time to go over it and even at 22 degrees outside didn't rush and asked if I understood. I felt heard and seen and could not recommend this dealership more for having a safe car and safe process for young women. To think I was going to do business with another Safford brown Mazda in Virginia. Please make the trip to check out this one! I feel amazing about my purchase and you should too! I purchased a Mazda 3 from Rosenthal, now that it is Priority they do not want to honor my complimentary oil changes. When I bought my Mazda I went with Rosenthal because of the offer of the lifetime complimentary oil changes and safety inspections. This was the main reason why I purchased my car from the dealership. I contacted the other Rosenthals dealerships in the area and now they are saying the Mazda Nissan was not part of Rosenthal they just used the name, so they will not honor anything. I have the paperwork to show this to both companies but they are just ignoring me. I now would not trust neither Rosenthal nor Priority at all.

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2020 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring at this dealership. It was an excellent buying experience from start to finish. The sales associate I dealt with, Sam Velasco, was great to work with; he was pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive and totally transparent in his dealings with me. I also want to mention that Peter Friedman, the head of pre-owned sales was top-notch in every respect. I've been buying cars for 50 years, and these folks made this the easiest, most pleasant car-buying experience I've had yet.
