I recently leased a car from Towne Toyota, and I have to say this was by far the best car-buying/leasing experience I’ve had in over 20–25 years. I’ve purchased and leased many cars over the years, but nothing compares to how smooth, fast, and enjoyable this process was. From the start, my salesman Goksel was outstanding — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on making the entire experience stress-free. He took the time to answer all of my questions, set up a test drive right away, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The signing process was lightning fast — paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently, and before I knew it, I was driving off in my new car. They even offered me drinks and snacks during the process, which was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel really valued as a customer. I also want to give a special mention to the General Manager, Travis. Don’t be afraid to ask him for what you want — he went above and beyond to make sure I got a really good deal and worked hard to meet me in the middle on everything. I placed an order for the new Toyota Sequoia with Cliff over the phone. While I am 2 hours away from the dealership, Cliff was professional and respectful in taking my downpayment and keeping in touch with me while I waited for my turn to purchase the vehicle. When it came time for the purchase, Cliff was transparent with the out-the-door price, did not pressure me into unnecessary options, and on the day of the pick-up did not surprise me with additional options. The time I spent at the dealership for paperwork and car setup was significantly less than the average time one spends at a dealership. During the visit I had a chance to meet Mr. Krause Senior, the father of the current owner and made sure to thank him for the great purchase experience. Overall, I am super satisfied with Cliff and Krause Toyota and will be recommending it to my friends.

This is my 4th visit to Toyota of Newton, ( 1st time buying from them) Robert was very helpful & listened to my concerns about my 2025 4Runner. He made. notes of it when I gave him the keys. I also asked if someone could go over the features in the vehicle with me when it was finished being serviced. There are too many features to mention!! Robert found someone in the showroom to explain the computer features. It was Chris-general manager? He spent almost a 1/2 hour with me in the vehicle explaining all the features & why Toyota installs them in the vehicle!!

In July 2025, I contacted Thompson Toyota to place an - Almost Buyer

In July 2025, I contacted Thompson Toyota to place an advance order for a 2026 Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid. I clearly explained that I would purchase the vehicle from Thompson if they honored the $500 Hero discount that was being offered at Team Toyota. The Sales Manager, Steve Tagye, responded and initially confirmed that honoring the $500 discount would not be an issue. Based on this clear agreement, I placed a deposit. After several months of waiting for the redesigned RAV4 to enter production, the dealership located a vehicle for me in February. At this point, communication broke down completely. The sales consultant, Ken, could not make even minor decisions and was forced to defer to Steve Tagye for nearly everything. In March, Steve Tagye unilaterally backed out of the previously agreed-upon $500 discount on a vehicle with a list price of approximately $49,000. Despite the clear documentation of our agreement and my repeated references to it, he refused to honor the commitment and attempted to argue that the agreement never existed. This was a blatant use of manipulative and unethical sales tactics, wasting my time and trust. I immediately requested my deposit back and decided to take my business elsewhere. Potential buyers should exercise extreme caution when dealing with Steve Tagye and Thompson Toyota.

Refused to even entertain a price that didn’t include their ‘silent security/theft guard’ and ‘complete care’ like these things were mandatory. Also registration and dmv fee when you’re transferring plates does not cost 424.44$ . It literally costs 4.50$ to transfer plates and another 80 or so to register. So because they were absolutely unwilling to listen to what I wanted which was to pay the taxes, doc fee and dmv outright and I didn’t want their ridiculous up charges of almost 2500$, they lost the deal. I low balled my offer intentionally so they could meet me somewhere in the middle (they took 750$ off msrp but completely stopped listening to me and shook my hand and said bye, we’ll try to find you a used one! All bc I didn’t want to pay their ridiculous up charges and I wanted to structure the financing MY way. I just contacted another dealer

Top notch, Chris Mackes is a true gentleman and is very knowledgeable of the product. I assisted an older family member purchase a new RAV4 after hers was totaled in a crash. I contacted Chris via email with a quick response and two telephone calls I received my best price from him and made the deal. We traveled 85 miles to the dealership where the car was prepped, and ready to go. Upon arrival unlike other dealerships the price quoted was the actual price. The entire process only took one hour and fifteen minutes. There were no high pressure finance room scare tactics or shenanigans. Chris was very patient explaining the new vehicle features to my family member. All in all a great experience.

Took several tries to resolve one problem, but they kept their positive and helpful attitudes and finally located + solved the problem in the truck's rear.
