We could tell he knew his cars inside and out, but more importantly, he cared about what was best for us, not just the sale. UPDATE OF REVIEW ON AUGUST 16TH. Met with GM at Sun Chevy. He had already reviewed my concerns and had found that a input error had caused the overpricing. A mutually agreed credit will be issued. Have to give Sun credit for stepping up, admitting the error and taking positive action. Sun Chevy will continue to by my go to service center for my GM cars.

We compared this new/used vehicle shopping experience to a variety of online trade sites, and we would hands down highly recommend this Wexford, Pa based Chevrolet dealership. Most importantly the staff (Brad, Alex, Domenic, etc...) that makes it all worth the effort, and an easy process!! We love it !

I wish I could give zero stars. My experience at Cochran Chevrolet's service department was a masterclass in how not to run a business. It started with my service rep, Jerry, who, after a few days, told me my car needed significant repairs, including a new thermostat and potentially a broken valve spring. Throughout the initial back-and-forth text updates, I repeatedly confirmed they would work with my Car Shield warranty. After about a week, the story took a sharp turn when I reached out for an update and was answered by the service manager, Angela Rupert. She informed me that Jerry was on vacation and that, actually, my car just had some carbon buildup. Then came the kicker: she claimed they didn't accept Car Shield, a fact that was conveniently ignored the entire time my car was there. Fed up with the conflicting stories, I told her to stop all work and that I would pay for the diagnostic labor and take my car. When I arrived, Angela Rupert proved to be one of the nastiest, most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. My car was sitting outside, yet she refused to give me my keys because I was "visibly upset." She never once offered an apology for the contradictory information. Instead, she became incredibly defensive, claiming I was disparaging "her" business and condescendingly suggesting I must have misunderstood the situation. As someone who has built a 34-year career in business-to-business financial sales—where listening and understanding are critical—this was particularly insulting. In a bizarre attempt to silence me, she said she would charge me nothing so I couldn't complain to the BBB or the Attorney General. After a heated exchange where she falsely claimed my car wasn't ready (I was literally looking at it), I finally got my keys and left. The final insult? I drove up the street, turned my car off, and it wouldn't start again. My battery, which was only two weeks old, was completely dead. They had to jump it just to move it and never said a word. This dealership's service department is a circus of incompetence and deception. Jerry and Angela Rupert are a disservice to the Cochran name. I will be sharing this story far and wide and have already filed complaints. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague.

Purchased a new vehicle from Tri-Star Chevrolet. Absolutely love the vehicle. Don't love the deception and lying that went with it. Sales Manager tells me the car had a nano coating on the paint installed at the dealership and that it will cost extra since it's already on the car. I agree. Sales Manager and sales rep both let slip that the car is having the coating put on while I'm on the way to pick it up. I call them out on it during a phone call after the sale. Sales Manager denies that's what happened. When we are done he doesn't hang up his phone and I get to listen to him for the next 10 minutes tell someone else at the dealership how he lied to me because they wanted to make more on the car. During the call he tells his co-worker the General Manager, and I presume owner(he used their names) wanted to make more on the car and "what was he supposed to do". Confront Sales Manager and he eventually concedes he lied to me. Speak with General Manager and he tries to justify it before also conceding I was mistreated and lied to. No resolution beyond that. Be very careful if you choose to purchase from them.

I purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra Denali from Rob Donaldson. He is a genuine kindhearted sales representative who explains the process step by step with NO high pressure sales tactics! He involved the GM Sam Kelly when I had questions and the finance manager Kristen Thomas went back to the bank to fight for a lower interest rate due to my excellent credit as I was not going to sign at the rate they initially offered. I buy a truck or a car every year or so between my business and my personal needs, so I am a bit more familiar with the buying process. Having said that, I don't know whether these guys are dishonest, just incompetent or a combination of both, I caught them trying to charge me a few hundred dollars more on fees and taxes. I normally would have walked out, but because I drove all the way from Long Island, NY located right outside of NYC, I had to waste a couple of hours of my time pointing out the "mistakes." Because of the shortage of trucks, we decided to go out all the way to the Pittsburg area to get the right combination of the capabilities and options. Even when we were trying to register the vehicle in NYS DMV, we were told that these guys forwarded incorrect paperwork and that the whole paperwork had to be sent back to the dealership and send back out to DMV again. I ended up making multiple trips to DMV because of it. Additionally, there is a program called Business Choice which would enable us to receive an additional $500 rebate. But because these guys were not familiar with the program, I ended up wasting a lot of time again, and we ended up not receiving the rebate. I spoke with the regional coordinator of the program, and I was told that these guys really do not sell too many commercial vehicles and that they are probably not very familiar with the program. I don't mind them not knowing about it, but I do mind them not trying. If you are thinking of buying a car or a truck from these guys, please be aware, lest you end up wasting time like me.

The salesman we talked to over the phone couldn't have cared less about the vehicle we wanted to purchase. He basically told us there isn't any mark up on the specific vehicle we were looking for, therefore it was obvious there wasn't enough interest in his part due to not making enough money on the sale. He did NOTHING to try to help us whatsoever and was very arrogant. We went to another dealer and came home with a new vehicle at a price we we happy with from a dealership that was OUTSTANDING and very informative and respectful. That dealership would be Bowser Chevrolet in Monroeville Pa.
