Michael Mykytey was the salesperson I dealt with after a recommendation from a friend who had purchased a vehicle from Michael previously. Michael was a pleasure to deal with, very friendly, no pressure, no over-selling. From the first test drive to the final purchase Michael made the process easy and stress-free. My electric truck has been in this shop since July 3rd. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received so far if you could even call it service. There’s been zero communication unless initiated by me asking for updates. The most recent correspondence from them was that they had not fixed my truck, that the HYBRID battery was bad (I do not have a hybrid vehicle, 100% electric) and that I would receive an update today. At this point there is gross negligence happening at this dealership, by both the mechanics and the office staff. I would NEVER recommend anyone coming here for any type of repair. If this wasn’t a company fleet truck I would have bailed WEEKS ago.

**Worst experience**. Never recommend and don't waste your time. I went to look for an pre-owned GLS 450 which was listed the price as $41994.00 online. After the initial discussion and finishing test drive we went to the table for final discussion. Here come the superhero. The service manager came with papers and told the price listed in online Lincoln website is incorrect. He increased the vehicle price closure to $49000.00. I asked what going on. He casually replied the price is incorrect in website and said that will be refreshed over month end. OMG, I have no words and nothing to talk. I simply walked out as I felt arguing with that guy is useless. It was a terrible experience. I wasted so much time and walked out with much disappointments. Venting out my frustration here. Called the dealership because I was interested in purchasing a car. One of the salesmen didn’t stop calling me until I finally came in. Once I got there we sat and built the T150 exactly how I wanted it. I was told I would get the car in 3 months. Got my total price of $40k and gave them a deposit. Was supposed to get email notifications with updates on the production of the car and estimated dates never did. Kept calling the salesman and he said he’s not in or he just wouldn’t pick up. I even called him once when I was outside watching him pick up the phone and tell me he’s not in today. Anyway 13 months later I get a call the van is coming in 2 days make insurance ready. 2 weeks pass and still nothing so I decided to take a drive down there and to my surprise the van is there and nobody called me to tell me it’s there. Now I come in to pick up the van and they hit me with a new sticker price of $45k due to increased costs of materials within the 13 months. Ok fine. BUT on top of that they now want 10k over sticker. After being totally shocked since I sat built the car and waited 13 months the GM said he would 7k over sticker. Got him down to 6k over sticker. They tell me all the salesmen in the dealership are just waiting for me to walk out mad and reject the car so they can go sell it for 15k over. I waited patiently much longer than I agreed and expected to and I don’t believe I should’ve paid anything over sticker. The sticker was already 5K more than my original build. It’s not like I walked in and chose something sitting in their lot which then I’d sort of understand. I waited for a car that I ordered and i have the paperwork. And the car isn’t exactly how I built it. Certain things they told me would be that aren’t.

Amazing and reliable dealership. Andy has always been our favorite salesman because he is honest and wants his customers to be happy with their purchase. This year we purchased our daughter's new Ford Escape, financed our return lease Ford Explorer and leased a new Ford Explorer ST. We are a very satisfied Ford family and appreciate how easy it is to do business with this dealership. Everyone there is courteous, professional and really care about their clients.

5/31/19 I received a call from Bianca because I’m looking to lease an Explorer. She set up an appointment for me to meet with Matthew Lopez at 5:45pm. I called at 5:44pm to let them know I was running 10 min late. When I arrive no one greets me I’m walking around there are no customers. I had to ask someone where Mr. Lopez was and I was told he left. The gentleman named Frank called him and no answer. Mr. Lopez called him back and he said he left because he wasn’t feeling well. He also never let anyone know I was coming so they could help me. I asked who the manager was so I could complain....the manager is Matthew Lopez. Disgusted

While Ford is making some great cars, the experience of buying one at this dealership makes it worth either going elsewhere or buying a different make of car. As someone wrote below, this place is a throwback to the worst days of car dealerships in every way. My specific complaint: Try getting someone on the phone here. You'll be like one of those characters in the movie OId--you'll age a year in a half hour. Worst of all is the service department, which actively seems to make it a psychological obstacle course to reach them. This might not matter so much if Pleasantville Ford had a functional website, but its stie functions like it was built in 1999. You feel like you're stuck in some Kafka-esque nightmare where you'll spend all day calling, leaving messages, being transferred, being put on hold for ten minutes before you get cut off....For the sake of your own mental health, please...stay away from this dealership. Otherwise, you'll regret buying from Pleasantville Ford the first time you have to engage with the dealer post-purchase.

this is absolutely the most expensive and either incompetent or totally rip-off places my friend has been to. He's spent 13k on his two cars there in the last few months (on nothing major - no transmission or motor or ANYthing like that. Jeannette will take care of you nicely lol. TWICE, after charing a couple of thousand, the car didn't work and they had to "do something else" - one time with an added charge. 2800 dollars for a fuel pump - and he got it back and the car didn't work 2 days later...she said the part wasn't available so they tried to do it without the part. lol...This is a dealership? It's embarrassing!!!. And it's continuous

I leased a Mach-E from Schultz Ford in July of 2025. I live in Massachusetts, but this dealership had the car I wanted in stock, so I chose to lease from them. The salesperson I worked with was excellent, and the initial paperwork process was smooth and efficient. Unfortunately, everything that followed has been very disappointing. Because the car needed to be registered in Massachusetts, the General Manager explained that the process might take about a week, since it would have to be routed through a Massachusetts dealership. That seemed reasonable at the time. After not hearing anything for over 10 days, I contacted the GM to check the status. He told me the registration was completed, that I could continue using my old plates, and that documentation would be sent shortly. When I verified this with the Massachusetts RMV, however, they had no record of the VIN and confirmed my plates were still registered to my old vehicle. The GM had lied to me. Since then, I’ve been driving with a New York dealer plate loaned to me by Schultz Ford. At the time of writing this, it has been almost nine weeks. New York regulations only allow dealer plates to be loaned for five days, which leaves me in a precarious legal situation if I get pulled over in New York. The dealership has not demonstrated that it knows how to complete an out-of-state registration, and the lack of communication has been especially frustrating. Updates are never provided proactively—I have to initiate every conversation, and return calls or texts almost never arrive as promised. To make matters worse, the dealership’s website offers no staff directory or clear avenues for escalation. Short of making another long trip back to the dealership, I have no way to identify who could actually resolve the situation. In short, I’d recommend that buyers avoid Schultz Ford of West Haverstraw. While their sales team was friendly and efficient, their failure to complete the registration process, combined with poor communication, has left me with an unregistered vehicle months after purchase. There are plenty of Ford dealerships around, and you can do much better than this one.
