I went today to look at a 2015 Ram with 117k miles. Before the test drive started the sales kid explained twice what "as is" meant, which I found odd. During the test drive, the engine light came on, So I asked to have the service department put there code reader on it. The salesman went in and came out a few minutes later explaining that their computer only worked on GM products. I kind of got a little ticked at this point and explained that the one they are legally required to have to preform state inspections has to read all makes. Then the story changed to they couldn't risk the liability of telling me what was wrong with it! At this point I started using words like dishonest, crooks, and shady and the sales kid agreed! Bottom line it was obvious the sales department had prior knowledge of major issues, and is trying to dump the truck onto someone else. Needless to say I will never do business with Brattleboro Auto Mall.
