I purchased TWO vehicles from Daytona Hyundai in the past 10 years, the last one just weeks ago, and this sale by far was the most customer service oriented and detailed I’ve ever encountered in my 10 new cars buying history! xxxxxxto Dani on her diligence on follow up, sincerely listening to my wants and needs, and to ALL of Daytona Hyundai for their efforts. I purchased a car that none of us were aware had a bit of body damage (as it was in detail throughout the sale), guess who had all body work completed, to near perfection, to satisfy their customer?!? Today I witnessed the rebirth of Kendall, Hyundai. Currently they are remodeling, but even in these conditions they are hitting it out of the park. I was able to make an appointment with the automated system and received service within an hour of making my appointment. The service team rep Jeus Calderin was very amiable, knowledgeable and caring. I had to work that day and they were kind enough to help me with uber so that I could make it to work and back when the repair was complete. Jesus was very communicative and kept me posted on the progress. Finally, someone is bringing excellent customer service back to Miami. I am very grateful and appreciate the diligent efforts of my service representative and the very excellent mechanic who fixed my baby. Please accept my most sincere gratitude. Kudos to your team. Everyone excelled today. From the young lady who first received me, to the service rep and mechanic. Very well organized and efficient service department. They are the worst dealership ever. My car is a 2010 Genesis w/ less than 40,000 miles on it and we had to have it car hauled on May 9th b/c the key fob wasn't working. It was towed that day and we have had little or no contact w/ the dealership. I have contacted them numerous times and have gotten some run around every time. I am disabled, my car is paid for, and I need it to get living essentials. They have not contacted me, I have had to make contact with them to find out the status/update of what is going on w/ my life. Doctors, groceries, essentials for living. I am so disappointed in their service. I would never buy a new or used car from this dealership. BUYER BEWARE!!! I am going to contact the owner. I think that she would be extremely upset w/ the service that her company is giving her customers/buyers .... Shame on you Kyle! Key Hyundai, Southside Blvd. Jacksonville, Fl. I can afford to buy a brand new vehicle w/ cash just like my Raptor and Genesis but why??? I don't need to go to the used car lot, thank the Grace of God. I just want my little Trac Zoom, Zoom back. What is the problem and why am I not being informed as to what is going on w/ my vehicle? I am not poor, praise Jesus but I feel like I am not being treated properly. Shame on you. I took my car in for body repairs, as was suggested by - mswafford

I took my car in for body repairs, as was suggested by the Toyota dealership. The original estimate was for less than $5000. Then it went up to $14,000 and ended up to be almost $20,000. I hit a pole in a parking lot, never even broke the headlight and the air bags did not go off, I was going about 10 mph. They sent it to a different mechanic who removed the engine so Bay could “fix the frame” and then the mechanic couldn’t figure out how to correctly reinstall it back. It sat in the parking lot for 3 months with the hood off where more damage to the engine was done. Bay argued with the mechanic about who was going to fix what and who was going to pay, and no work was done for months while the car sat there. They continued to lie to me about what was happening as to the repairs every week I called. The car took 6 months for the repair that was originally estimated to take 14 days. My insurance company finally sent someone to the shop to find out what was going on and discovered what was happening. Bay then had to send the car to the Toyota dealership to have the eigine fixed from all the damage done. It cost an extra $5000 which they passed along to the insurance company. The insurance company (AIG) say they’ve never had this happen where a company doesn’t get pre approval and just sends a bill for $5000. Bay refused to release the car until the insurance company paid in full. It sat there for a week while they came to a conclusion. Then Bay Body decided to take the car for a test drive the day we were headed there to pick it up and they found another problem. Fortunately they got it fixed, after I threw a fit. 6 months and $20,000 later we got the car back. My insurance company say if they’d known the final cost they would have totaled the car. They were horrible, they lied every time we called and ripped us off for thousands of dollars. They contracted a terrible mechanic and then didn’t want to stand by their decision. I recommend you don’t take you car there for anything!
