My 2019 Crosstrek was leaking oil from one of the cam - nebulon

My 2019 Crosstrek was leaking oil from one of the cam follower seals and had an issue with the driver's side window control. I was told by an independent repair shop that the cost to fix the leak would be around $5000 as the engine would need to be removed and replaced. Coincidentaly, I was contacted by Hansel about buying a new Crosstrek. I said I would not be interested as my Crosstrek was showing major issues at 75,000 miles. After checking my warranty information, I was told that my repair was covered under the 'gold warranty' I purchased at the time of sale. I was told that the repair would be done free of charge along with the window control and some front bushings that needed to be replaced. I also had the front brakes replaced as they were due. All in all I had a very positive experience dealing with the service department at Hansel Subaru. I would encourage any prospective new car buyers to go for the gold warranty coverage as it saved me from having to pay $5000+ out of pocket.

I came in to see why my paint was peeling on my 22 Outback. Never got a reason only a xx excuse. I was not used to that from Subaru. Then I asked for a quote to fix the paint. Amber promised she would get me a quote which she never did. I then asked her to email me a quote…. Also never happened. My representative Nick would have never dropped the ball like that. Your dealership has been after me to sell my car to you, 110% over bluebook etc. I felt like I was being screwed around felt to me dishonest. You never treated me like that before. At this point I will never sell my car to you or buy an Accent like I was planning to. I will go back to San Luis Obispo to get my new car. Also Car Max offered me $4,000 more for my car. Still waiting for my quote from Amber. Super disappointing

Putnam displayed a promotion in the dealership that had already expired. I inquired about this promotion (2 free season passes to Sierra at Tahoe) and was told it was still valid. Then I purchased the vehicle. Nothing happened with the passses, when I called to follow up I was told they were sorry and would see what they could do / needed to talk to a manager / etc. Excuses. No action. Super disappointed.

Do not believe anything somebody tells you on the phone. They never listened to what I wanted. I think the worst part was that when I went to get the car, it wasn’t the same vehicle that I had originally inquired about and that we were making this deal on. There was many other switch and bait type issues. Just beware

They have told me I'll have it in 1-2 months once. 1-2 weeks 8 times, and 1-3 days 12 TIMES. Asked for my money back and they can have the car after 4 months. Been dragged thru the ringer.
