I bought a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe from another dealer in early September 2022. Upon purchase, we were informed of a recall on the windshield that needed to be taken care of. This is required to be repaired at a Hyundai dealer so I scheduled an appt online at Bergstrom Hyundai in mid-September. After getting to my appt, I was told that they couldn't complete the recall that day because it was a two day repair and they did not have any loaner cars available. I couldn't be without a car that long so I opted to wait it out until they had a loaner car available. I was told they would call me as soon as one became available. THREE MONTHS LATER... now December, I called to see what was going on. The lady on the phone wouldn't schedule because she "didn't know if they ordered parts yet" and she had to have someone call me back before they could schedule. IT HAD BEEN THREE MONTHS... also I was told this would be completed in coordination with Tri-City Glass so I didn't understand what parts we could be waiting for. FOUR DAYS LATER... no one called me back. I called again... the guy I talked to said "we have loaner cars and we have for awhile". I'm glad I was a priority for a call. I opted to skip the loaner car at that point and just bring the car in when I had a week vacation. I dropped off on a Tuesday. A couple hours later I got a call that they actually couldn't get the repair until Wednesday. Fine, I have all week. Then Thursday at noon, I get notified it was ready. I go pick it up and the car was DISGUSTING. Dirt, grease, dust, stains. LITERALLY EVERYWHERE, including the back seat. My car has tan interior now covered in black dirt, seats included. I'm not sure why the car wasn't protected prior to sanding, grinding, etc. I called to tell them how dissatisfied I was that the car was returned, not in the condition it was dropped off. They did have me bring it back in and 40 minutes later it was cleaned. I'm really disappointed in the lack of care for my car while it was there and the quality control that was clearly lacking. This whole experience made me feel very undervalued as a customer and like this was an inconvenience to them. I would not go back for any service in the future.
