Refused To Order Airbags For Acura Recall - smspire
I received a recall notice for the air bags in my 2003 MDX and called Acura of Bellevue Service Department 13424 NE 20th St, Bellevue, WA 98005. The scheduling rep put me on hold then came back on and told me that Acura of Bellevue didn't have any airbags for my MDX nor did they have any plans to order them. I asked several times during the call for Acura of Bellevue's Service Department to please order the recall parts, (my understanding is that a recall part is no cost to the dealership), and the scheduling rep refused. Acura of Bellevue is a very poor representative of the Acura brand. I called Acura Customer Relations who found a dealership service department 17 miles away who was able to complete the service. This was all very inconvenient.
