Supposedly fixed the code on my Bolt , but something wasn’t right when I got it back from them. I sent it back and they had it for another week , claimed they could not replicate the problem I was describing ( which was clearly safety related) Took it to another dealership for a second opinion, and they diagnosed the issue and fixed it in 6 hours. There was an essential bolt MISSING , for the front wheel , where Iwas certain the sound was coming from in the first place. So they fixed the issue but did NOT reassemble the car properly and more importantly, safely. I will never return there, for service or purchase.

Today was my first visit to this location. I purchased a used Chevy at St. J Buick GMC from Nina and the Autosaver group offers free oil changes for vehicles purchased there. Spoiler alert: the oil changes are 100% free. No surprise costs or parts charges. Plus, everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. I live in the Burlington area, so going to Montpelier was more feasible than driving almost two hours to St. Johnsbury. I'm glad these guys run as tight a ship as St. J Buick GMC! This location is well-kept, has signage for locating the service center easily, and offers a customer lounge. The lounge is a tad small but had a space for me to work on my computer and offers a mini fridge with small bottles of water and juice pouches for kids. There's also free tea and coffee, and water fountains to refill a water bottle if you choose. I took advantage of the guest wi-fi to get work done and the hour flew by! The gentleman who helped me get checked in and out was nice, and I regret I didn't catch his name. The process of getting checked in as a first-time customer was super-fast, which wasn't expected since I wasn't in their system, but he made it a painless experience. As I was handed my $0 receipt for today, he did advise me that my rear brakes were wearing a tad low and to keep that in mind around the time I visit for my next oil change. I appreciate that he didn't push me to have them repaired ASAP or try to upsell me on anything else (like other places that claimed my brand-new cabin air filter needs to be replaced). Overall, I had a five-star experience here. My oil gauge was reset, and my Equinox was pulled right out front for easy locating. Thank you, Capitol City Buick GMC! I'll see you in February!

3 failed appointments for a simple repair. - Jiseph King

Scheduled an appointment a week ahead for certified service. After waiting an 1-1/2 hours they informed me that they did not have the parts and would have to reschedule. When the parts arrived I asked if they would mount and balance my tires at no cost. Mike told me to bring them and ask management. I spoke with Heath about waving the fee and he said no. So I explained this is my second trip and I have a 1 hour commute each way, then he said he would split it with me because he has to pay his tech. I told Heath to forget it and I would rather leave negative feed back for my unpaid 7 hours of inconvenience. Thanks Heath for unacceptable hospitality. Joe

I purchased my GMC Duramax in New Jersey, and moved to Vermont 6 months later. Other than oil changes, which I do myself, I have had all my service done at this dealer and they are friendly, try to provide me some form of loaner if the service will be more than an hour and a half, and charge fair rates. I have also bought a set of winter tires here and the prices were very competitive. All service has been profesionally done. <br><br>Highly recommended.

I visited St. J. GMC for a tire rotation and brake inspection. Denise Pelow happily scheduled the appointment at my convenience. Patrick Switser was my service advisor. He was very helpful and explained the results of the inspection in detail. He was straightforward in his recommendations to correct any concerns. They are the face of the dealership and why I purchase our trucks from them. I will continue to use the St. J. GMC dealership.
