Beyond Poor Customer Service - nathanrossw
I just got back from the worst experience I've ever had at an auto dealer's service center.
I called yesterday to make an appointment, or get some information on coming in to get my Traverse serviced under warranty. Spoke with Chuck, who said just come in when you can, so I said I'll see you tomorrow and he said ok. I get there today and I'm the only customer in sight - awesome! Every service desk had an employee behind it. This should be quick (I'm thinking).
Still took them about 4-5 minutes to greet me, only to tell me that they're 3-5 days backlogged. So my only choice is to drop my vehicle off for 3-5 days before they can even look at it. I asked them if they were any options as this is my family's only vehicle and I have a one month old daughter that I need to get to a doctor in Rowlett, but can't until the A/C's back up. The guy I was talking to was totally unforgiving and seemed like he could care less.
So, why didn't Chuck tell me about this apparent backlog?
Take your business elsewhere. They're rude and unprofessional.
Even if you don't believe me, they don't even have the time for your business anyhow!
