2023 760i xDrive. Paid cash for it and bought 5y ext bumper to bumper warranty. Service department at BMW of Lubbock/Cavender BMW is incompetent. Had a minor accident, insurance covered, sent to dealer for calibration after body work. Dealership didn't calibrate correctly so hot air blowing from AC. Turns out dealership technician didn't reassemble the front bumper correctly after calibration. 2nd Issue, front camera out so took it back. Service dept says its a bumper bracket related to the accident so contact my insurance. I did. Insurance says it's not related to the accident. I end up paying out of pocket for repair. Dealer at this point has taken my bumper off 3 times, 1st to calibrate, 2nd to fix their faulty repair, 3rd to say the bumper bracket is broken and not covered by my extended warranty. Icing on the cake is they were supposed to take care of a recall related to the computer and assured me they would before I picked up the car. They call me to tell me the car is ready for pick up. I ask if the recall has been fixed, as my app tells me it hasn't been. Of course, they say "oops" forgot about that, even though they assured me it would be before I picked up the car. I'm not happy about their service so the service "advisor" goes to get her "manager" to relay my concerns. Another service "advisor", next computer over, decides to come over to "remedy" the situation and tells me after reviewing a few files that "we (the dealership) never took your bumper off to service your vehicle." Infuriating as they sent me multiple videos of the technician working on my vehicle with the bumper taken off. I ask the service "advisor" after she comes back what her name is. She says she feels threatened and wouldn't tell me. Threatened for being included in a bad review? Incompetence. That's the word summarizing the service department at BMW of Lubbock/Cavender BMW. Buy your BMWs and get them serviced elsewhere.
