Our 11-year old F 150 broke down on the Tuesday - Buckeyes

Our 11-year old F 150 broke down on the Tuesday evening of Thanksgiving week while on vacation. We were stranded for about 3 hours in Pigeon Forge before the tow truck arrived through AAA. While sitting there waiting, we went ahead and called the Rocky Top Ford dealer to inform them our truck was being towed there. Chris, in the Service Department, answered and was so kind. We were naturally upset about our truck, but he was so calming and helpful. He did keep in touch with us on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving day. They had to go to Knoxville to obtain the part. We were so thankful that they were able to complete the repairs on Friday by 1:30 pm in order for us to head back to Ohio. We truly appreciate the mechanics who worked on our truck and Chris for being such a wonderful man. We truly feel that he was a God send! Thank you to everyone who had a part in getting our truck repaired, and keep up the good work! So thankful!! The dealership was beautiful!

Doing a great job maintaining the shady car dealership stereotype! Bought a 2022 F-150 less than 3 months ago from here, and the battery was having issues, so I got it checked out here. Turns out it needed replacing and had lost its warranty! So, I was originally quoted just under $500 to replace the battery. Turns out that quote was incorrect, but I still had to pay about $300 to replace a battery that now has a 3 year warranty, but the truck that is under 3 years old couldn't get the warranty for the existing battery. Neither the service person I was working with or their supervisor would look me in the eye when explaining this situation because they clearly knew I was getting hosed. Won't be back, won't be bringing any further business here. So I paid just under $700 to get a bed cover attached and replace a battery. Was told the truck was done and got to sit at the dealership for another 45 minutes while they were still working on it too, great communication!

Friendly, prompt and professional, the very best Ford service. I have been there for service three times and have always been impressed with friendly people and professional service. I drive a little farther to get there, but it's worth it. I would recommend them to anyone, you will not be sorry.

Instructed Mr Tucker to ensure antifreeze was good. <br>on 20 Dec 2004, My engine block cracked due to the freezing weather. When I took it toElk Valley Ford, I was accused I did not have any antifreeze in the engine. When I started to explain I had the oil changed and to check the anti freeze, I was stopped by Randy Barnes when he stated you know how those quick lubes lie about checking things on the engine. I reapporached Mr Tucker and asked him to step in and he said there was no anti freeze. 6 Jan 2005, I asked Mr Tucker about 15 Dec 2004 visit, I asked for my anti freeze to be looked, he replied I don't recall that and that there is no special request on the vehicle Inspection Report. <br>Lesson: Make sure all request and answers are placed on the invoice or theinspection paper before signing the paperwork even if you have to put it on yourself. <br>I just bought a $10,000.00 engine due to poor workmanship at Elk Valley Ford.

I took my 2014 Escape in for repair on 9/16/2021 after waiting 2 1/2 weeks for an appointment. That same day I was notified that the service Tech broke a spark plug off in the cylinder head. I asked for my car back in the same condition as when I drove it in to No-Fair Ford and I got it back on 10/29/2021. I did not want No-Fair Ford to work on my car after I read the multitude of negative reviews about their service dept. online. After no callbacks from the Service Mgr. and an angry General Mgr., the Gen. Mgr. agreed to return it to me. He agreed by phone on 9/23 and face-to-face on 9/28. It took over 5 weeks to return my car to me and the repair consisted of replacing the broken spark plug (that No-Fair Ford broke) and labor that took less than an hour (as noted on the service ticket). I was told by the service dept. that the owner of No-Fair Ford was aware of my car's repair and approved it. I guess he approves of the lack of communications from the Service and Gen. Mgrs, the length of the repair (5 1/2 weeks), and the poor treatment I received from the Service Dept. and the General Mgr. I recommend anyone considering taking their car or truck to No-Fair Ford for repair to first read the online reviews at https://www.facebook.com/pg/FairwayFordKingsport/reviews/, https://www.bbb.org/us/tn/kingsport/profile/used-car-dealers/fairway-ford-0533-2769/complaints, and at the Better Business Bureau at https://www.bbb.org/us/tn/kingsport/profile/used-car-dealers/fairway-ford-0533-2769/complaints. Don't just take my word for it. I will never own a Ford vehicle as long as No-Fair Ford is in Kingsport to service it.
