Brought my diesel truck in on Tuesday as it had a code - Diesel

Brought my diesel truck in on Tuesday as it had a code for throttle position sensor. They diagnosed it the same day but had to order parts and also advised me the diesel tech was very behind about 1 and a half to 2 weeks. It is what it is. To my surprise they received the parts that Thursday and I had the truck back the following Monday. Under a week. Very happy with the service and the truck was very clean and under the hood clean and neat work no broken clips / clamps or anything else. I will be using them again in the future if I ever need any work.

Took truck in for a short in wiring. Had truck 5 days. Jiggled the wire enough to eliminate the short, but did not fix the short. Already had the bill over $400 and wanted to remove the dash board (more money). Got truck back, cigarette lighter/phone changing port no longer works. Also charged $36 for "shop supplies." Since they didn't fix anything or use any actual supplies, they have agreed to refund that portion of the bill. Said "shop supplies" are automatically added to a bill and should have been removed if no supplies were used. How about only adding the supplies when they are used? No itemization because there are no actual supplies being used. Every vehicle coming into their service center will be charged this fee unless you question it. Then was offered only $3,000 as a trade-in, which is less than 50% of the value of the truck. Con-artists and criminals.

My car was making a faint clicking sound and needed some attention. My experience with the service center was excellent from speaking with the customer service experts Chloe, and Renee to chatting with service advisor Edward Anderson. The time spent on waiting for the issue to be resolved was a little lengthy even with an appointment, but the technician was able to duplicate the noise and resolve the problem. Infiniti of Greenville's facility is very modern and the wait time was less of a pain due to the comfort of the facility, they also provide a nice outside waiting area if you like basking in the sun. Always be as specific as possible with your needs and car concerns when speaking with the professionals and they will definitely do their best in making sure your car leaves better than when it came. I left with a smile!

Purchased a jeep from them. We were going to go in tonight and buy the Grand Cherokee that is on the lot as well, assuming it was still there, but not after this. So… when I purchased the vehicle the oil change sticker said 7,500 for next oil change. (The first oil change was supposed to be free by the way.. at least that’s what our salesman said). My wife took it in for its first oil change since we purchased it. $150 and now the sticker is 5,000 for next oil change. I call up and speak to a “service manager” who said I was being “silly” for asking why it would have changed and for feeling like I was trying being taken advantage of. I’m glad me pointing out a significant difference in mileage from the time I purchased the vehicle to the time I got the next oil change is “silly”. What it comes down to is, I only use this vehicle to go back and forth to work so it takes a good bit before I need an oil change. I admit I could be wrong but it seems like because I don’t drive it much they changed the mileage to 5k so we would come in more. The manager just kept saying how silly of a conversation it was. That silly conversation cost you guys a 30k+ sale and I’ll be sure to tell EVERYONE about my experience. PS. The sales people are all extremely nice. Everyone we dealt with, other than the service department, was great. It is a shame their service department has no guidelines on which they service their customers by. According to the service manager, the suggested oil change is dependent on who does the oil change. So it can vary depending on who does it. Absolutely terrible business practice.

While searching for a part online, I came across Midlands Toyota. They had the part in stock at a very competitive price and a reasonable shipping cost. I placed the order, but a few hours later, I received a call from Martin in their parts department stating there was an issue with the shipping estimate. Martin was highly professional and courteous, explaining that the system that generated the estimate miscalculated the shipping and that the actual cost was significantly higher. I work in internet-based technologies and know quite a bit about e-commerce, while working on cars is a hobby, so I understood Martin's explanation. What I truly admired was that although not his or Midlands's fault, he owned the error. Made the adjustments needed and shipped out the part at a cost we both agreed on.
