They are the biggest liars! Do not deal with Rich. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealer ship. Originally my car broke down on August 25 and I took it to a car shop in Mount Morris PA. They changed a few sensors and my car still wasn’t working so they took it to Bortz “without my approval first” and even Bortz still could tell me what exactly was wrong with it, they said they needed to tear into the engine some more to find the issue. They charged me $300 for just hooking it up to their computer. But again I never received any updates for a week while it was with the shop in Mount Morris/ Bortz. But finally after a week of getting no answers I talked to a sales representative named Rich. I asked him if I would bring my car up there and have it fixed could he assist me in trading it in for a new or used one and his answer was yes. So I had my car towed back to Waynesburg and they started working on it after I signed a waver that allowed them to look through my engine for the issue. I was told by the service lady it will be one week before they could look at it which is fine and I understand. So that brings to being careless for 3 weeks at this point. I call on the following Thursday to check on the progress of the job. And service tells me the parts it needs and a estimated cost which I agree with. Again not an issue, I just don’t appreciate it when I’m ignored instead of given answers so I can understand what the issues are they are fixing. Well fast forward to last week and I call in to talk to Rich. He doesn’t answer like usual so I transfer to service to check on my car myself. She said my car is done and can be picked up anytime. But I wanted to see if a trade in was possible. Well she told me to call back when Rich was in. I asked when that would be and she couldn’t tell me. Well I call each day after to talk to Rich and each time I was transferred to his voicemail. It was like he knew I was calling and just didn’t want to bother with a paying customer. Finally I get ahold of him on Wednesday and he told me I needed to do a credit check over the phone with him and he will check to see if I am approved or not. Again I understand this and expect it to go either way. Well he said for me to call him tomorrow (Thursday) and we will get it started. Well I call to tell him I did the application on their website the same day. So I called Thursday to see if he checked my credit, well I couldn’t get through to him it kept going to voicemail so on my lunch break that day I just drove there and asked for Rich I was told he was outside mowing that day and went home early WITHOUT returning my missed phone calls! I was fed up at this point so I asked another sales person if I could switch and have him help me well the manager told him no. So I went back to work and called him again on Friday (today) STILL HE DIDNT ANSWER! So I went up there today to just talk to him in person. When I walked in he said “Hello Faith I was just getting ready to call you. He was sitting with another sales rep most definitely not about to call me. I politely ask him if he ran my credit report yet and he said no so I asked him if he could do that today. He said yes and that he would call me in about an hour with what the creditors say well I wasn’t going anywhere this time so I just drove downtown to help my dad with his new tires and while I was there only about 20 minutes he called to tell me that I was not approved for a loan. And I was okay with that and told him thank you for his help and I would be up to pick up my car. Well then I thought of a few questions I’d like to ask him so I drove the five minutes and I walked in to find that he had already left, I was extremely upset with this service it felt more like disrespect. I will never go there for service again! Biggest joke of a dealership I’ve ever seen! They made me feel like I was such a hassle when all I wanted was to check on my car.
