The service dept FaiIed to find the oil leak in our vehicle. Small leak. We picked the car up and were told there was no leak. The service manager stated if it was there our service tech would have found it. He was almost able to convince me I was wrong. Not a nice person, narcissistic at a minimum. This man has been there for sometime making me think the judgement of this dealership is poor for letting him continue to be employed with there. I really couldn't see the man employed anywhere at let alone here. He may know someone at the company I'm guessing because he is not a good person. He insisted at that time there work was completed and to make another appointment. The arrogant attitude and look on his face was the all there. I still have an oil leak as described. I crawled under the car and found the leak. Don't ever leave that service dept. Because that man expects it to happen. He expects repect he doesn't deserve.

On a recent trip from Canada to the Gulf Coast, we experienced some mechanical problems with our truck. As it was a Friday afternoon, we knew that if we didn't get it fixed, we could be stuck for the weekend. Key Ford of Hazleton took care of us right away. They diagnosed and repaired the problem and had us back on the road in no time. Exceptional customer and highly recommend this dealership! The service department is horrible. I made an appointment online and arrived 15 minutes early. I was told that the online system is balky and to not use it because they have to decipher everything and it doesn’t take into consideration lunch hours. Then, I was sent to Richard because I had a Fleet vehicle. He said they don’t do fleet vehicles with online appointments but he could squeeze me in later in the afternoon. I had an 11:30 appointment It isn’t that they really screwed me but they were really rude in going about their business. Richard should be fired. I purchased a car there a year ago and have been bringing my fleet vehicle with no problems in the past. Keystone. You have lost all my future business.

Purchased new 2024 F150 back in August, now with 3453 miles computer message "parking brake limited function, service required". I called service for appointment and they said I would have to leave truck all day. I live over 40 miles away and asked for loaner car. Service said they do not have loaners but I could rent a car and if it was a warranty issue I wouldn't have to pay. How can they say if it is a warranty issue when I have a bumper to bumper 36,000 mile warranty and I only have 3453 miles on truck? I emailed sales a week ago and no reply. If I knew they would not provide loaners I wouldn't have purchased truck. I made appointment local with Ray Price Ford and will not call Koch and will not be a repeat customer.

No transmission fluid put back into our 2008 truck when transmission line was replaced after it rusted out on this 5+ year old vehicle. Was told we were not telling the truth, that Libby checked with the mechanic who swore it was topped it off! Obviously, it was not done. We spent $779.11 on this incomplete job and are very concerned if any damage happened to our vehicle. Very, very unsatisfactory service by a Ford service department, by supposedly Ford certified mechanics, on a Ford vehicle.

..2019 Transit Connect ABS module replacement and programming. Derek the Service Manager covered for his buddy the professional tech. Four screws removed from the cowl by the qualified and trained Ford tech, three loose ones made it back. The fourth, which supports the brake fluid reservoir, was omitted. Why? In a hurry? Didn't care? Too much effort required? Dropped it in the engine bay and said the h*ll with it, the customer will never know? FOUR bolts, you missed 25% because you don't care. The brake reservoir bounces freely as the vehicle goes down the road. Ford designed plastic fittings under hydraulic pressure capable of supporting this weight? If so, they would have saved a penny and omitted the support bolt themselves. Or does the tech know more than Ford engineers? 5,000 miles from now, when my kids are driving on the interstate, and the reservoir or fittings decide to crack and drain all the brake fluid, they will be killed as there will be no brakes. But that's okay Derek the Service Manager says, the tech "doesn't remember" if he took those bolts out, so he's not to blame. The tech also doesn't know if he needed to take those out to R&R the ABS module. Well, he did remove them. No one else has worked on this vehicle other than oil changes in 51,000 miles. Just your buddy, Derek. I understand your job is to descalate the situation and get the PO'd customer off the phone. I also understand Maguire's Ford techs have the apathetic attutude they do because Derek has the same. But that's okay, they aren't your kids. How can the customer ever prove fault for wrongful death thousands of miles later? This is a simple bolt the tech chose not to reinstall, which is required to support a vital safety component. IS it floating around in the engine bay after he dropped it? What harm will that cause? If the tech couldn't care less about a simple 8mm bolt, what else did he do, or did not do, that I have yet to discover? He's shown he doesn't care about the simple things, how lazy was he with the more important? Thank God I didn't allow this tech to do any further work. What else would he have "not remembered" when Derek asked him? To be fair, Derek said they would replace the bolt, if I drive the 45 minutes to him. 1) Why would I drive 45 minutes one way for your buddy to fix his intentional omission, when he chose not to do a simple task correctly the first time? 2) No way in h*ll is Maguire's getting their hands on any of our vehicles again. I'd sooner trust the Vo-Tech kids to have more ethics and pride in their work. 3) One of your peers ( Not you, Derek) offered a mobile tech to come to me and replace the bolt. I appreciated the gesture, but declined. That was a stand-up, responsible act by a guy who should be running the service department. Thank you. I would prefer a non-dealer shop inspect Maguire's "Ford professionally trained" work and repair any defects found. Very disappointing. You spent more effort not caring and getting me off the phone than even thinking about taking responsibility Derek.

I was impressed at how Larry gave me such a friendly local neighborhood treatment when I visited his lot. With over 50 years in his business I believed he would have the trust and respect from local community and he showed why. With that many years in business it matters; so I look for that. So, my experience with Larry was so satisfying that it became the bar at which I set to evaluate every other dealership I would visit the next 3 days. After a few days, I had eventually narrowed my car choices I still had interest in from each dealership thru research, inspections, and test drives, etc. And it was Larry who gave me the best deal for his product and the best experience on his lot. What also stood out was that he offered a very good warranty that we 'both' went over (i.e. to know what ISN'T covered, very important). He even showed me the service record that he completed on the vehicle before I asked. After we finalized the deal on the car, he unexpectedly helped me out by offering to follow me to the rental company in the the next township to drop off my rental and drive me back to his dealership so I could drive my new SUV home that day. I did not expect him to offer to do that. Bottom line? I did the crucial homework when shopping for a 'USED CAR.' It's hard to find a hidden gem in this over-saturated used car market, therefore, research is a must in this field. But also, choosing the right dealership to put your trust in comes second. I had a great experience with Larry and I am satisfied with my decision to purchase my used car through him. Important advantages: Do the research: READ THE WARRANTY, research the dealership, warranty company, and the vehicle history (VIN). Do these and you're less likely to get screwed. Therefore, the homework we have the freewill to do is up to us.
