The service department here bailed me out of a potential disaster on a road trip. My Promaster Diesel threw a code which would have shut me down. The service manager took me in on a Friday afternoon, diagnosed the problem and fixed it with a flash download. Nothing but high praise for the service department, their skill and knowledge and great service to a non-customer away from home. Based on my experience there, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Exceptional service.

RIP PEOPLE OFF!! - Unhappy

Just a warning to all! Last week I took my ram truck into Clarion Ford Chrysler Ram in Clarion Pa. It needed inspected, oil change and recalls done. I was happy when I picked the truck up because it was a reasonable price from the dealer. My truck didn’t need anything for inspection, all good. Yeah! Well when I pulled out of there the truck was running a little rough, I should have turned around right then and taken it back. But I didn’t, but the next day I called and complained about it. They said as long as the check engine light is on solid I could still drive it and they gave me an appointment for a week away. So I drive the truck, the transmission isn’t shifting right and now check engine light flashes. I quit using the truck, take it in to Clarion ram again. They say the engine now has a misfire, and it will cost xxxx amount of money to repair. So they couldn’t get me on inspection for any additional problems or money, seems to me they caused a problem to my truck so I would have to take it back. They said it’s all just a coincidence that my truck has a problem after they worked on it...seems to me typical dealer crap! Like Gibbs says “there are no such things as coincidence”. Beware of Clarion Ford Chrysler Ram! Spread the word far and wide! No I didn’t have them do the work, scammy people!

I have purchased and had serviced three (3) Ram trucks from Country Chrysler Dodge Jeep in the past 14 years and have had nothing but outstanding service at every turn. I've had the pleasure of working with Marty Lawrence for many years and he always provides world-class service. My current truck, Ram 3500 dually is principally used to pull a 4-horse head-to-head horse trailer from April - October each year. I completely trust all service needs to Marty and his team and I have never had a mechanical issue while using the truck.

We went to Courtesy Motor Sales Dodge in Altoona looking for an SUV that met a difficult set of requirements. We needed room, towing, roof racks and the ability to mount a support on the front to hold a hang glider or two. Every car we had looked at, including our own, has been impossible to put a front support on. They were so very patient with us and the sales woman, Lisa Thompson spent a significant amount of time trying to match us with the right vehicle. Mike Barnett, the manager, looked over our SUV and added suggestions on both how we could modify vehicles and vehicle models that had the potential for our needs. Then we went to the parts department and Alan Fridhof helped us there. Boy, no better service than all of this! We came away with a working solution and, when it comes time to trade up, we know exactly where we are going: Courtesy Dodge!

I haven’t had the best luck with the Jeep I purchased and no matter what he always stayed level headed and compassionate. He is greatly appreciated!
